Re: Pitot Heat Failure
Hi Lewis, It was a new flight from a saved parking location. I tried to reload the flight again from the same parking spot and had the same results. Shutting down FSX and starting it back up resolved the issue, but I had not seen a failure like that previously. I did go into the FSX "Failures&q...

Re: HSI problems
That isn't all that you added Nick. Circuit breakers pop, instruments go funky, and as I learned this morning, the pitot tube heater fails with no apparent repair.gauge failures were a new feature we added with the Bo

Pitot Heat Failure
Okay, what am I missing? Performed pre-flight with battery and pitot heat ON but the pitot tube was cold. Since it is a brisk morning, I cranked the engine to allow it to warm up (pitot heat still on) then shut her down and did another walk-around to the pitot tube and she is still cold. Checked all...

Re: How Do I post a Repaint here for download?
That said..... Let's start with the necessary links needed to post your work. Understand that you can ONLY link your photos and actual work to the forum, you cannot post directly. you need to upload it to avsim (for example) then post the link to the download here for others to get it. i'd love for...

Re: How Do I post a Repaint here for download?
you need to upload it to avsim (for example) then post the link to the download here for others to get it. Not true. You can post directly to A2A 'Finished Repaints' area without posting anywhere else. Ask me.....I refuse to post on Avsim for personal reasons and ONLY post my paints on A2A. That sa...

One more Canadian bird. C-GBCH painted in burnt orange and dark chocolate brown (not black) is apparently a custom paint and rather different. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3d5dejdbyvi8fsw/C-GBCH%20Thumbnail%20Shot.jpg?dl=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/y5kz18xx2u3isdj/C-GBCH%20Port%20Side.jpg?dl=1 https://...

Re: hanger model for putting my treasures in
Check FSDeveloper.com and plug around there. I doubt that there is a multi-aircraft hangar, but it has been awhile for me so someone may have put one up since than. Doors....Your FS9 days are showing. That went away (by force) when FSX came out. However, I think that they may have found a work-aroun...

Fly the V, just don't blister the paint on 6AG. I don't know if I can patch it..... And, ignore the junior birdmen.

Inspired by the photo on the 2020 Beechcraft brochure and on-line photos of the RL N686AG, this paint is on the V-tail 35B with slight modifications to make it work. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5haxth7o03j76mo/N686AG%20At%20Vashon%20Island.jpg?dl=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifrcoxatrosskw4/N686AG%20No...

Re: Passenger in the engine
Nick,
That is an issue with others as well. The Red 'X' conditions in the hangar cannot be seen. I have been modifying the text for a friend as well. The problem is that different people have different color deficiencies. I have been going to hot pink or orange for reds for my friend.

Re: How to make the Cessna 172's spinner metallic?
P3D is a completely different animal. It uses PBR type textures and not the normal FSX reflection methods for which I gave you instructions. I am just now studying PBR textures and therefore cannot be of much help. Hopefully, someone more knowledge of PBR can jump in here and answer that question.
