I've sent a message

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
yes, but you can't graduate it,
the intensity can be somewhat reduced but you can't have a normal metallic surface,
it always tends to shiny aluminum.

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
it works in the default skins
it does not work when I am trying to skin it as the skin alpha and specular layers are way too shiny, there is no matt effect, even when I set it as matt it has a gloss and a shine to it/
I cannot make it work. period.

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
there is no way I can manage to make a textured surface for this model - it is too shiny and even painted surfaces are too shiny as well.

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
I can turn it off - I can't calibrate it, it is either on very strong or off.
but I can' really use your skin as an example - I have to be able to create skins with different textures, another example of a darker alpha

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
the alpha channel does not work in the official template, in mine or in anyone else's
I could use a black blank alpha layer and get the same result as a grey blank layer.

Re: P-51 alpha layer problem
the alpha channel is too shiny , there is no way to turn it down, the alpha can be set to a dark black or light grey, the intensity is the same this is should not be a "chrome plating" finish - this should be a base metallic finish I pasted the alpha channel over the image http://www.crime...
