Re: parameter fluctuation

Oops! Sorry about this. I assume you mean the "Engines Selector" accessible from Views - Instrument Panel which has four blocks 1,2,3 & 4 and "Click to Select underneath. If I click this the blocks turn from grey to black but either way, no engine is selected. but I still get the fluctuations. For ...

Re: B377 fuel system

-SNIP- my usual stratergy is to take off with all 4 engines in wing to tank (in case any one is contaminated- lose only 1 engine) then in the cruise switch the inners to manifold and feed from the center tank untill all wing tanks are equal, then all feed from the center tank until it is empty, the...

Re: A2AB377 thoughts

Ooooh! That sounds like a great idea. How did you do this? Could you post the details of the changes so that I can paste them in my files please? I especially like the Nav looking straight up at the overhead as I've already feathered props unintentionally by not counting switches absolutely correct...

Re: Stratocruiser at Templehof

Paul That is looking amazing. How to get that "old"traffic?I am really interested in it. Michael Most of those are from CalClassics. They are not "true AI" aircraft so will probably affect framerates, which doesn't concern me too much in general. I usually just add "AI" to the "Title=" line in the a...

Stratocruiser at Templehof

Some shots of the Templehof ramp after my landing there
in the MATS B377.
Just completed a short hop from Bremen to check my recently
created propliner AI flightplans to get some late 40's and early
50's traffic there.

Re: Request for cockpit builders

I hope you can successfully get the axis for the AP handle working, I've been looking for a use for the twist on my X52 Pro. Great idea. At last that axis will be of any use. Are you aware that you can program an axis to have "bands" than can be used to send keystrokes? On my X-45 throttle I have t...

Mystery solved!

OK...I just found out what was causing the fuel to reset to 100% no matter what I did.... I just fired up FSX, loaded the 377, loaded the Wake to Guam flightplan and hit 'Fly'...in the cockpit I opened the load utility and tried setting fuel...it reset itself to 100%. I then started engines and used...

Gypsy Baron, But you said you used the FSX menu to adjust the fuel and then hit "Fly". Try this: Start a new flight from scratch, and don't use that at all and use ONLY the Shift 4, A2A one. That's what I do, and I do NOT have the problem. :) To expand on what I posted...I NORMALLY use the FSX menu...

Gypsy I see the First Class PO pic you have but what is the RATE? almost looks like a nuke rate? Electronics Technician.... a 'black shoe' rate but I volunteered for a 'special assignment and was assigned to a squadron ( OASU/VX-8 ) and did two 6-month TDY's to Viet Nam back in '66 and '67. When no...

If you use the Shift 4 A2A payload fuel utility, which is very nice, rather than the FSX one, you can balance your fuel perfectly by individual tank, almost to the gallon. I do use that, however that is the utility that was 'malfuntioning' in my description above. Once it stopped resetting back to ...

One or the other. Acceleration includes SP2 so you don't need to
install the downlloadable SP2. It won't let you install on top of
Acceleration I believe...

Re: REVERSE PROP ISSUE

After landing the B377, I press the F2 for reverse prop and it does slow down however, after it comes to a stop the plane then rolls backwards down the runway. I can't seem to shake it out of reverse unless I reselect the plane in FSX; that seems to shake off the "stuck in reverse issue". The throt...

I flew from Barcelona to Gander; I think the total time was 6.4 hours. I agree with Gypsy Baron: I just barely made it off the runway at Barcelona with a heavy fuel load and hot day, very slow climb to FL260--and arrived at Gander with something like 12K lbs fuel on board. I noticed something yeste...

Thanks for the tip, mate. And yeah, whats the deal with the s-e-x-t-a-n-t? It contains the consecutive letters s, e and x... Obviously software that was created in the overly PC USA, I'm sad to say...it's not even a 4-letter word, which is heard often of television and far too often in movies these...

-SNIP- And while I'm talking about my crew, what about the Navigator? He is using a chart that isn't even from the correct hemisphere, and when I call up the map flying over ocean I get a circle on a blue background :) Is the map supposed to have any functionality at all? I have to check the map fr...
