Re: The Cub's flight model - Flare after glide
I was very surprised to see that you can practically land the Tundra Cub on a helipad. All it needs is a little bit of headwind, not even much. During beta testing I was able to take off and land the stock Cub in the width of the runway at Courcheval in the French Alps in a 27 knot crosswind at 90Ã...

Re: You want fun?
Shouldn't be that difficult, it's "only" white paint lines with Gaussian blur. The spec blue is slightly darker and has more intensity so that you get the metallic effect. The biggest "no" for this paint is the Cub model - this one has a three-blade prop and a wraparound nose. Now if A2a come up wi...

Re: Perfect
One thing I noticed after landing (and the engine was off) was that if I pushed the stick forward, the crosswind was enough to lift the tail from the gournd  Scott, Rob and Michal made some amazing breakthroughs with the physics in FSX during the development of the Cub and it shows in the way ...

Re: Multiple Controllers
The answers to your questions lie in 'Retro's' excellent controller tutorial starting on page 40 of the 2.08 manual. To put it simply, yes you can have multiple controllers in use at the same time and yes they are easy to set up once you UNDERSTAND the procedure. It's the understanding part that mos...

Unfortunately we don't have the ability to store screenshots on this forum. What you need to do is open an account at one of the free image hosting sites like 'Photobucket' or 'Dropshots' and then link to the images so that they appear here.

The light will not disappear until that line is added to the panel.cfg file.

Re: Adding lines in the panel.cfg for taxi lights?
You did add the 'gauge21=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light' line to the [vcockpit01] section of the 'panel.cfg' file I take it.

Re: Adding lines in the panel.cfg for taxi lights?
You will need to adjust the X,Y,Z co-ordinates for the light to locate it in the correct position. See this thread for more info....

Re: Light Editing
Hi James, you almost have the theory correct with the exception of the light position co-ordinates.
Have a look at this post where I explain what each item does.

That should get you up and running with a bit of luck.

Re: Things I've never seen before in FSX
Apparently "MSVBVM50.dll" is a required component for programs compiled with Visual Basic 5.0. Vista was shipped without this component and so you get that error whenever you try to install a program that requires it. The following link takes you to a MS support page where Vista users can download a...
