Re: ORBX - Could someone explain?!

Quote: "Now, one thing to remember, you cannot fly over the region where you live and love and not be a little disappointed whatever solution you choose." I have to disagree. For example, Orbx Northern California Region + Orbx Cloverdale + Orbx Santa Rosa looks so much like the real thing it is stu...

Re: In-flight oscillation

If the aft tank is empty, it sounds like a calibration issue. Verify that you don't have a double assignment. I love my P3D but each iteration has a tendency to mess up things in this regard and calls for a thorough check.

Re: ORBX - Could someone explain?!

Photo imagery will give you the ultimate precision for VFR/dead reckoning flying but, for me, is not very convincing. No season, blurry when flying low and, even with overlaid autogen, it looks flat from above. Precise but looking fake. OrbX sceneries will not be as precise by far but are much more ...

It didn't damage anything for me :) . Flight1 is a serious publisher and many people have been using it to solve this conundrum.

Re: does p3d new update 3.4 works good with a2a aircrafts ?

Also I am not sure what you mean by "corruption message" either. Do not hesitate to upload an image of it or if it is short to copy in another post the exact wording. As Steve said, installing A2A FSX legacy aircraft is a breeze. I did it for the P40, P51, the Cub and the 377. Not the B17 though th...

Re: does p3d new update 3.4 works good with a2a aircrafts ?

There is really no need for it ! I use an empty .txt file (0 Kb) that I renamed fsx.exe from fsx.txt and that works great !

Re: Big Beef with Acusim

Putting floats or tundras on a 172 won't make her a bush aircraft or maybe recreational bush :D . Tundra tires seem to me a gimmick anyway as the muddy and rutted surfaces physics are not simulated except visually (and not very well at that). For floats, the physics of water TO/landing is not so con...

Re: am i doing it wrong ?

I always start P3D from the Start Scenario Screen, which there is a checkbox on that screen. Then pick aircraft, airport, etc, and zero problems with any complex aircraft. Works every time. Same here. My experience is that there is no need to go through a default aircraft with P3D (contrary to FSX)...

Re: New hardware: trackir or rudder pedals?

If you're hooked to flight simulation, you cannot get a full appreciation of the finesse of flying without a good set of rudder pedals. TIR is optional specially if you don't fly combat flightsim. A lot of people will tell you that they cannot live without it and I believe them but, reading often fo...

I've been flying the 51 from v2.3 to v3.3 without a hitch. This is a tricky aircraft to take off but otherwise a joy to fly. Your install may be flawed.

Re: Question about Failures

). If it only happens every thousand hours or so a lot of people would never see something going wrong! But that's real life ! What I find interesting in the A2A Accusim concept is that there are consequences when you do wrong or not as good as you should, flying (control surface fatigue etc.) or m...

Re: Question about Failures

I will try to be more sensitive next time. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings which was why I wrote no offense, meaning take it as a joke or any other way except offensive. My point is that A2A planes are realistic, as realistic as you can get in a flightsim and most people in the hobby know th...
