Re: A T-6

ORBX scenery has a few airports like Murray that lend themselves to spectacular screen shots like this one. There is an big old hanger at Redding, CA KRDD that works great for the B-17G, L049, and any of the A2A family of WWII Fighters, as a nice backdrop for great screen shots. Great scenery and aw...

Re: Constellation Checklist, V-Speeds, Tank Management etc.

Awesome work, thanks for sharing! This is what I needed to help add realism to my Connie flights. I wish you had a VRef Speed box for landing as well. I can figure that one out myself. Anyway, thanks again. Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down! Ret SMSgt Cliff Lord - C-130 Flight Engineer ...

Re: A2A Gremlins Strike My T-6 Texan in P3D V4

Alan Thanks for your input. I did try what you suggested; but it didn't help. The T-6 still comes up with the gear handle in the up position no matter what I've tried. I'd like to get it fixed; but at least I know what to expect when I bring the T-6 up. The first thing I do now is put the gear handl...

Re: what year is the a2a cessna?

Very nice pic KotatehFox and yes it would be nice if A2A could develop a floatplane (Amphib) version of the C172 or C182. Here is wishing A2A starts 2018 off with a "can do attitude" and at least consider the floatplane idea! Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down! Ret SMSgt Cliff Lord - C-1...

Re: A2A Gremlins Strike My T-6 Texan in P3D V4

Tried resetting my default flight with the airplane gear handle "definitely Down". I even made a default flight using the A2A T-6 and making sure the gear handle was "Down" before I saved it. All my planes come up with the gear handle in the "Down" position, except my T-6. The T-6 gear handle still ...

Lewis

I tried resetting the default airport (Eglin AFB) and airplane (F-22): but it didn't help. Only my T-6 comes up with the gear handle in the up position.

Re: Thoughts on the Cherokee?

Of all my GA airplanes in my P3D V4 hanger I fly the A2A Comanche 250 & Cherokee 180 the most. Each is quite different than the other; but very enjoyable to fly. I prefer to use the Comanche 250 for my instrument work and the Cherokee 180 for my VFR flying. The Cherokee has a very special place in m...

Re: The Largest Seaplane in the World Is Chinese

Hey guys, if you're in disagreement as to whether or not the AG600 is the "Largest Seaplane" in the world, you'll have to throw your rocks at "Popular Mechanics" as they wrote the article. Don't shoot the messenger, as I just posted the article for your enjoyment! I feel like I just batted a bee hiv...

Re: A2A Gremlins Strike My T-6 Texan in P3D V4

Lewis - In P3D V4 I load the plane using the P3D Scenario page. In the top left there is a box called "Change Vehicle" with a spinning airplane. I simply select the version of the T-6 that I would like to fly before changing an airport. I was using KPDX Portland when I made these pics. It also happe...

A2A Gremlins Strike My T-6 Texan in P3D V4

When I bring up my A2A T-6 Texan in P3D V4 it always comes up with the aircraft landing gear handle in the “UP” position. (This does not happen in FSX-SE). Is this the A2A intended position for the Gear Handle when loading the T-6 for a flight in P3D V4? If not “Houston we have a p...

The Largest Seaplane in the World Is Chinese

The world’s largest amphibian seaplane, the Chinese AG600, made its first flight from Jinwan Civil Aviation Airport in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China. Large as a civilian airliner, the AG600 can take off and land from water. The aircraft, nicknamed Kunlong, was in development for seven years and wi...

I was afraid of that possibility. I'll be a good boy and wait for A2A to do it's thing. Thanks for the info.
