P-51H

Nick C

Nice "Mustang"! I bought the "Flightzone 02 Portland" scenery and it's outstanding. Thanks for sharing the pics of the P-51H and the Pearson Field scenery with us.

CWDT F6F Fuel Burn

8thFG, I was flying over the Pacific Ocean with the CWDT F6F and I noticed the fuel burn seemed a little fast. I started with full wing tanks and a full reserve tank (No drop tank) and I ran out of fuel in 1 hour and 40 minutes and had to ditch! I believe the real F6F had better range than this. I s...

CWDT F6F Hellcat

Hey Guys, I finally got around to purchasing the CWDT F6F Hellcat after watching "Dogfights" on the History channel the other night. The TV show was about the Dogfights that took place between the Hellcat and the Zero in WWII. Anyway, the CWDT Hellcat flys great on my computer in FS2004. I noticed s...

FSX Initial Impressions

TinMan I have been flying FSX for two weeks now. I have flown the Maule, Gruman Goose, Cessna 172, Ultra Light, CRJ, B737, Piper, Airbus 321, DC-3, Cub, and the Sail Plane. Most of the planes fly ok except for the Airbus 321, which is a real dog! I found the 321 to be real heavy on the controls and ...

B-24 Crash

Hey Guys My next adventure is to go out to California next June 2007 and meet up with Greg Stone, who use to be a member of the Redwood Empire Aviation Historical Society. We plan to search for the B-24M crash site. I managed to get the 40 page accident report off of microfish from 1945 and the repo...

Ride on B-24H "Witchcraft"

Fellow WWII Bomber Lovers: I have been involved with a year long project to document the history of a B-24M crash in 1945 that took my uncle's life. After many hours of research and data collected from family, The National Archives & Records Administration, The AAIR Aviation Archaeological Investiga...

I am also a big fan of the U.S. Navy WWII fighters. Where can I get the CDWT Hellcat? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

FSX

Bob,

I got the FSX Deluxe based on more detailed airports, citys, planes and the Garmin G1000. I don't like to under buy, as I usually regret it!
