How do I drop the Fw 190 External Tank?
Does anyone know how to jettison/drop the external fuel tank on the FW 190 Butcher Bird. I looked through the documents that came with the plane and I can not find any levers or switches to jettison/drop the tank. I even tried shift+D which drops the external tank on my other fighters, but not on th...

P-51 Landings
tatankamani Meso's advice works well. I have adapted from real world flying some tricks that may help. I find when landing my F4U, F6F, P-40, P-51, P-47, Bf-109 and Zero the following work well for me. First off with any tail wheel airplane you'll lose site of the end of the runway just prior to tou...

The Hawker Hurricane is a favorite plane of mine as well. Oh by the way, did you buy the Hurricane II Manual?

Dave R Skycat was correct! If you want a good looking Freeware Hawker Hurricane you need to get Robert Sanderson's Hurricane II and Sea Hurricane. Both airplanes are freeware and can be downloaded at flightsim.com. You must be a member to use the search feature at flightsim.com, so maybe one of the ...

B-17 Landing Gear Switch

Your right, it is a big oops! I programed one of the switches on my CH Yoke to operate the gear and the other switch on the yoke to operate the flaps. I'm glad I could help.

B-17 Landing Gear Switch
pascal The real B-17 uses switches for the landing gear and flaps. The landing gear switch should be to the left of the landing light switches on the same panel as the flap switch. WoP forgot to put the landing gear switch on the 2D and 3D panels. See the attached picture for the switch location. ht...

B-24 Liverys
robert41 Thanks for the info. I found one set of three B-24 liverys, but nothing that really sparked my interest. Liverys for the B-24J are what I'm interested in. I finished reading the book "Wings of Morning" and it was an outstanding story of the Farrington crew. Thanks again. Keep the ...

Hey Guys Does anyone know where I can find some new paints/textures/liverys for my WoP B-24? I already have "Faithful Old Pig", Miss Ileen", and "Witchcraft". Also does anyone know if someone has done "Black Cat" yet? Black Cat was the last American bomber to be sh...
