Are you moving your eyepoint outside the aircraft from the virtual cockpit? It is a standard poly-saving technique to not model parts of the aircraft that can't be seen from the cockpit(helps with frame rates, especially on detailed models). I can safely say I have never noticed an issue with gaps, ...

I've found that the fairing doors always drop reliably if you until the prop stops turning to pull the handle.

I'm going from memory here(always a dangerous thing to do) but, I believe that is the way it functions in real life.

Make sure to back up your config files if you have repaints or panel mods installed. The one time I forget to do so... Luckily I only had a few so I was back to normal in a few minutes.

The textures for the cockpit of the P-47 are in the main FS9 texture folder to save disk space. The cockpit textures are named P47_C*.bmp, I also have a file called P47Innerskin_t.bmp in my main texture folder that I think is from the WOP P-47. I haven't picked up FSX yet, but I have heard there is ...

I think the Garmin G1000 is only available in the Deluxe edition. Also, the SDK only comes with the deluxe edition. When I get FSX(need a new machine first) I plan to get the Deluxe edition, as sooner or later some add-on I want will end up depending on the additional features.

I've been up in Yankee Lady and can say she is one of the best to ride in. You don't sit on the floor LOL... Funny you should mention that, we sat on the floor in Witchcraft last year. That big box of a fuselage sure makes a difference, there is quite a bit more room than on the B-17, you can actua...

As far as I have been able to determine, no B-29Ds were built as the B-29D. The designation was changed to B-50, in part to get congress to fund the project.

I wish that Mustang was mine. That is Gerry Beck's new-build P-51A. I like to refer to this type of project as a reproduction, as the only difference between this airplane and an original P-51 is who built it and when. http://www.warbirdsurvivors.com/wix/img_8214.jpg glsimpilot, sorry I didn't mean ...

As far as I know, the B-17 has been named "Chuckie" since Dr. W.D. Hospers bought it back in 1979. I think Chuckie has been flying again for about 2 years now after having the Wing Spar AD work done.

Very nice. I've seen a few B-17s fly over my house, but never a B-24 :)

I would have thought the website would be updated by now. Fifi is down for an extended period until they complete a project to re-engine it with a more reliable version of the R-3350.
