That is stunnig as usual Puff. I used to like to draw in pencil as well, but have not done so in many years. Philip_ed, your work is also spectacular, good luck with the A level.

Re: So What Am I Doing Wrong?

Are you starting a flight in the air? If so, you are probably flying too fast for the flaps and gear to be deployed. This results in them being damaged and inoperable. Slow down to a sensible approach speed and you should have no problems. Other than that I can't think what would cause your problems.

Re: AMD processor question

I can't really comment on any performance advantages of 6 core compared with quad core as I'm still running a dual core. I would say though that I have been running AMD processors for the last 10 years and have never had any problems with them although like you, I have had a couple of mother board f...

You can't, it's a stand alone program and has nothing to do with FSX at all. Sorry.

Re: Help with Joystick choice?

Tim, I use the Saitek X52 Pro and it is superb but you may consider it to be a bit expensive. I think that for simple light aircraft flight your stick should be adequate anyway although I would not now go back to a stick without a seperate throttle. If I read your last post correctly you are asking ...

Re: TV Tonight!

I was hoping you chaps would have said that it was a great programme. Have just got back from holiday and a mate has recorded it for me. He said he really enjoyed it but his knowledge of people and events is somewhat limited so he would not have been viewing it with a very critical eye.

Re: How many ways to die in flight?

Yes Helmut, quite likely the case. Sometimes the chute just does not open as in reral life. The first time that happened to me I found it genuinely chilling. I try to stick with the plane where possible these days!

Re: Oxford Course on the Battle of Britain

Sorry I'm so late on this one, I missed it! Alan, it was great to meet you and as Paul says, we both very much enjoyed the day. I thought Rikky's insights were very interesting and obviously I enjoyed Stephen Bungay's lectures. Although I did end up having to buy another copy of The Most Dangerous E...
