Re: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."
Hi, I was trying to attach a couple of jpegs to a post in the P-40 forum and received the following: "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." I only had three files uploaded on my profile and deleted two of them after getting the message. However, I still couldn't upload the a...

Re: P-40 Pilot Manuals
Found this online manual for the Tomahawk I which might be interesting for some. It's html based and text only but it has a few annotations by Dan Ford and Erik Shilling (former AVG pilot):

Deadsticks fairly well
So... I had this bright idea to remove most of the fuel except for about 50% in the main tank to do a max speed test @ 15000'. That part went really well (hit about 349 MPH true airspeed which is about spot on for this mark IMO). And then.... sputter, sputter... and I was a good 40 miles from any ru...

Re: VC from WOP2 P-40?
There's are some cool features in the new pits. For example, one which may not help the virtual pilot fly better, but I thought added nicely to the immersion, is seeing the bicycle chains move when you crank the trim wheels. 8) It's also very nice to have the UK style cockpit along with the US style...

Link to YouTube Video of FHC P-40 and P-47 Run-ups
The Flying Heritage Collection in Everett, WA, has been busy doing their winter maintenance; both the P-40 and P-47 have been receiving a lot of attention. Jason Fortenbacher shared some video of both planes being started up for the first time since the engine work was done. The P-40 comes first, fo...

Re: A2A Spitfire MkV?
The SpitV is an opportunity to test the modularity of Accu-Sim. The current plan is to release the Spitfire V package as a 'model extension' that would plug right into the WoP3 Spitfire 3 MkI/II. So once plugged in, you would have a nice clean Spitfire MkI/II/V installation. Scott. Looking forward ...
