Re: Next Plane For 2020

SEVEN pages... weeks since anything noteworthy of a hint, and still no clue as to what's next. We knew the Aerostar was coming first before it was even in an alpha state, had plenty of videos from Scott about it and him flying, but we can't at least get a name drop of one of the two next releases.. ...

+1 on a 195. There's not really a good one out there.

Re: A2A Aerostar Emergency Landing

from the looks of the picture the props are ok looking. i just wonder if the plane can be fixed? it will have some paint missing off the belly but it should still be structurally good right? Even if they look good, they should be overhauled. The engines on the other hand have to be overhauled. I do...

Re: A2A Aerostar Emergency Landing

Wow, that's immense. At my local field I was about to retrieve one of my 172s from the avionics shop last week and a 210 RG unfortunately went down the runway belly first. I was in my boss's car and witnessed the whole thing happen and kept saying "Surely he's going around? Nope... he's not......

Re: A2A Aerostar flights

I watched a couple of Aerostar videos on YT... how does that nose wheel steering work?? There is this switch on the left side of the panel ceiling and apparently it turns the nose wheel as long as you hold the switch down and holds it in position when you release the switch. To get back to straight...

Re: A2A Aerostar flights

Fantastic video, again! So much detail do be discussing, even just looking outside. I have one question, Scott: "Free" supercharging. I'm simply wondering how it affects the combustion when the air is warmed by coming through the cowling. It might not have an effect, but maybe it does? (I...

Great videos, that rudder is tiny!
The rudder is actually the same control surface as the elevators and apparently are interchangeable, but standing next to them they appear much larger. I'd say roughly 50-75% larger than a 172's rudder surface.

Re: A2A Aerostar first flight

If anyone else is interested in more Aerostar content, Eric Reese on YouTube has been seriously pumping out new videos as he rebrands his channel. It's a great little bit to watch.

Re: Aerostar for Christmas?

Yep, agree with ^ 100%. I got back into flight sims this year again back in March around when V5 was released, bought some of my favorite aircraft that I could never get back on FS9 like the PMDG T7, some Carenado planes, and the A2A Bonanza. Once I started flying the Bonanza I pretty much shelved t...

Re: FS2020 A2A Wishlist

Hmm, user experience may vary I suppose. On my end it's been fine. Using the Turbo G36 mod with the G1000 mod has been a treat. Can't complain.

Re: Aerostar 600 question

Hello everyone, I'm quite excited about the upcoming Aerostar and have started designing a home cockpit around this aircraft. I was hoping someone could tell me the distance between the yokes, centre to centre. Cheers I might be able to get you your answer after tomorrow. It won't be a standard 600...

Would prefer to see the twin series continue with a DC-3. That OR a Beech 18! we need more radials that's for sure

Re: FS2020

Well, growing weary of the Rotax and high wings, I finally bit the bullet and downloaded Rob Young's new G36 Turbo mod. Looks like I found my go-to aircraft for the next couple of years. Thanks Rob, gladly donated. Hopefully A2A comes up with something that wows me. Proper V35 please! Gonna take a ...

Re: EULA Question: Recompiling A2A aircraft for FS2020?

Around the world flights never appealed to me in the old sims, but with the world recreation in FS2020 and the Aerostar coming out.... it may be the time. This very much. I hope it's not the stock 600 or if so, we get optional extras included (like the inclusion of the 550 for the Bonanza) so maybe...
