Re: B-17 radios P3Dv5
Thanks, that helped me figure it out. Does the ILS indicator not show radial deviation on a VOR?

B-17 radios P3Dv5
Hey everyone, I am not sure if something isn't working right or if I am just missing something super obvious, but I can't get the radios to work with the 2D panel. I can set a what I assume is an active frequency, by clicking in on it, so that the white frame appears, I can also change the frequency...

P3D V5.1
Any experiences with the new update yet? I am unsure if I want to install, as the download takes quite a bit of time on my medieval connection. Do the v5 compatible A2A planes still work?

Re: Need recommendation on Orbx scenery please
When I was looking at the Orbx website yesterday, the Airport pack had compatibility for v5 listed. Also regarding Vector: It was originally discontinued for v5, because the LM's vector data was a lot newer and more accurate, rendering Global Vector basically useless. Vector was only brought back fr...

As long as it doesn't have a G1000, I will take just about anything.

Re: FS2020 A2A Aircraft
I'll be honest, the scenery hasn't been that great in the area's I like to fly with limited Bing coverage. I prefer Orbx and P3D in those cases. Flying in the cities or where coverage is good then of course MSFS2020 is much better. I hope they continue to update their satellite imagery. Everything ...

Re: New PC - FSX or Prepar3d?
I recently made the switch from FSX SE to P3D V5. It's honestly great, yes it has some problems, but not more than FSX does, also it certainly runs a lot more stable on my system than FSX. I get a lot better performance and better visuals so I am not looking back. One thing was that I had to rebuy m...

Re: 172 vs 182
Yeah, sometimes I just don't feel like flying something fast, usually I then go for the Tiger Moth or the Cub, but I somehow the 172 is very special to me

172 vs 182
Which one do you guys prefer? I used to fly the 172 back on FSX, but when I switched to P3D, I bought the 182 because I was longing for something a little different... not sure how to put it any other way... I obviously love them both to bits, but I just want to go back to the 172 again haha even th...

Re: Spit vs P51
So if you fly a Spitfire you have to shoot at things? Is that what you are saying? Honestly, what a ridiculous idea. From experience, I can tell you it's more fun cruising in a Ferrari than in a VW, you don't have ro race it. Same with aircraft, I enjoy sightseeing in a P-51 much more than in a C17...

Re: Spit vs P51
This thread has been really good to a big question I*ve had: What do you guys do with military planes in a civilian flight sim? I mean, I get it, fly them around, but to me it just feels really odd taking a Spit or a B-17 for sightseeing or random travelling. It's sad because that deters me from fly...

Re: No sound in the cockpit?
I'm having the same issue. Accusim has the proper audio device selected and the volume is maximum. The sound on the outside works fine.
EDIT: After resetting the Accusim the audio device within P3D and a restart of the sim it is now fixed.

Pre-Flight cameras wrong
Hey, I just (re)installed the C182 for P3D v5 with the new installer and it seems like the cameras for the pre-flight check have gone a little weird on one side. The left wing fuel quantity check is still normal, but from there on out it seems to be one camera off.
