Re: Constellation Checklist, V-Speeds, Tank Management etc.

Hello, what is most probably the case is that the placard shows the ratio of cabin to outside pressure at maximum differential. It doesn't mean that that is what you HAVE to use. It means that if you're the only man flying a 5 crew airplane it is much easier to set it according to the placard. The p...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

MATS, so I insert the aircraft in the hangar, then I insert the schedule with that aircraft https://i.imgur.com/3pws0yh.png Heading over to the Flight Plan page, you see the dashes. I used 07:59 departure to highlight the fact that any time less than 00:00 GMT will return dashes. If I change my depa...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

It seems the Plan G to Flight Plan process is still partly broken. The alternate field name is properly copied. The distance to alternate on Flight Analysis as well. However only the first waypoint appears on the flight plan. Same for v20. Tested the same route on v19 and there, the route completely...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Thank you MATS !! A new small bug on the Flight Plan sheet. The schedule sheet allows you to insert a Local Time for departure, together with an associated GMT offset. When your local ETD is less than the difference between LT and GMT (meaning GMT time turns back to the previous date), the ETD field...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Hello, MATS put in the update two options in the Flight Plan sheet. Both convert values in the FlightPlan. One is to switch between statute- and nautical miles, and the other switches between rhumb line or great circle distances (I believe). Because the sheet was locked, I got the 1004 error. That i...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Cool MATS, thank you for your efforts ... Regarding the new features. We flew to Kai Tak. A user airport had to be created. And I don't know if it was because of that, on the map, VHHX was somewhere in the Pacific. However the flight plan figures were accurate. Except for destination, the route depi...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Thanks a lot for the info. I managed to get it sorted by manually inserting some data it did not get from the data tables for some reason. After that I believe all is sorted. The boxes I had to fill out manually were; 1. Alternate distance (Was not computed for me) 2. Fuel flow PPH/E in climb 3. Tim...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Hello, I am trying to create a flight with the DC-6B from VTBD to VHHH. So far I have followed the steps in the how-to with the only addition of adding the airport temperatures together with their elevation (see picture). The notes sections is all good and pre-filled as well. When I press the get pe...

Re: Self calculating navigator's log

Hey MATS, many many thanks. Just arrived in Casablanca on a 24 hour layover. Working on our flight from VTBD to VHHH(X). Unfortunately the pictures above are all forbidden. But I'm using my imagination and have just opened the ol' log. A question regarding the NavLog page. I can still use only Plan-...

Re: Still bummed about the metal

Hello, just wanted to give this post a small update. I just finished updating to P3D v5.1HF. I decided to turn on HDR and EA. Then I thought why not turn on Dynamic Reflections for shits and giggles. Initially my Connie turned to the familiar charcoal grey luster, however after about 4 seconds ........
