Re: Next Plane For 2020

Oh my how different it would be. :) The A2A Comanche in MSFS is just about the first proper simulation of the dihedral effect on the platform, where you can properly bank the airplane with some rudder (or by slipping it otherwise, including by not paying attention). As far as I can figure it out, t...

I completely agree...that's where the resources need to come from.

Re: Next Plane For 2020

Anyways, the more I exercise the idea of maybe hopefully having Aerostar in the sim one day, the more I like it. While the type is a bit niche, it still is properly fast, well into 200s in knots. It also has wing loading at the high end in what comes to the pistons, but comfortably not quite in the...

Interesting comment. With that in mind then, what makes you think that A2A should "throw resources at it"?

Re: How to set up the radio navigation

Hi Gerald, That is certainly not a trivial question, rather one that gets right to the core of SOPs!! :D Pretty much echoing what Esa said with more detail  My SOPs are based on the majority of my RW flight time having been in a crew situation. In a nutshell, we'll think of it not as four a...

Re: Launch C172 with GPS

Welcome to the forum klw2605!

That option is selectable in the Comanche Aircraft Configurator under A2A in the start menu. This I where you can select whether the airplane will load with a GPS and which model; either the default version or a couple of payware versions

Re: Enhancement Request GPSS

I'm a bit confused about what advantage that would be...you do know that the S-TECH 30 will already follow a GPS flight plan with either the GNS530 or GTN750?

I'd certainly love to help but I'm quite sure I couldn't offer anything you haven't tried already :(
I've noted that MSFS is a cranky bitch with a mind of her own sometimes...hopefully someone more tech savvy than I will have something... :|

Re: No power for take off

I just thought of something else. The airport I was taking off from is at 13,500 feet. Now I am realizing that I have probably never took off from a runway at that altitude. Might be a factor. That would have been good information. That’s exactly the problem. At that altitude you’ll have to lean fo...

Re: Abnormal magneto rpm drop

I had a rpm drop on one magneto of about 500. The other magneto drop was normal. The engine and electrical inspections didn't show any issues with either magneto. The flight seemed to go OK. Any idea what may have caused such a large rpm drop and not have a bad magneto indicated? Yes. Fouled spark ...
