Re: Launch C172 with GPS

Welcome to the forum klw2605!

That option is selectable in the Comanche Aircraft Configurator under A2A in the start menu. This I where you can select whether the airplane will load with a GPS and which model; either the default version or a couple of payware versions

Re: Enhancement Request GPSS

I'm a bit confused about what advantage that would be...you do know that the S-TECH 30 will already follow a GPS flight plan with either the GNS530 or GTN750?

I'd certainly love to help but I'm quite sure I couldn't offer anything you haven't tried already :(
I've noted that MSFS is a cranky bitch with a mind of her own sometimes...hopefully someone more tech savvy than I will have something... :|

Re: No power for take off

I just thought of something else. The airport I was taking off from is at 13,500 feet. Now I am realizing that I have probably never took off from a runway at that altitude. Might be a factor. That would have been good information. That’s exactly the problem. At that altitude you’ll have to lean fo...

Re: Abnormal magneto rpm drop

I had a rpm drop on one magneto of about 500. The other magneto drop was normal. The engine and electrical inspections didn't show any issues with either magneto. The flight seemed to go OK. Any idea what may have caused such a large rpm drop and not have a bad magneto indicated? Yes. Fouled spark ...

Re: A follow up on the frozen engine analyzer on XBOX

Rob, I expected someone would ask that question...I have been simming on PC for about 20 years. It was a constant struggle tweaking settings, replacing graphics drivers, fighting with windows updates you name it. And it was expensive! Every three or four years a new computer or at least a processor...

Definitely not! Far too many levers in turboprops for us jet guys anyway...

Re: Losing all power...what do I do wrong?

wouldn't you use reverse thrust on the landing and just for taxiing the wheel brakes? So no real issue. The effect of thrust reversers is in most cases rather marginal... ...as those clamshell style reversers as used in 727 are rather effective in comparison to most modern nonsense... The standard ...

I'm curious as to what you see as an advantage of the gaming system over a traditional PC based simulator?

Re: A noob question about hte electric fuel pump...

For "closed traffic", I'd use it as procedural practice. Gear up, fuel pump off... gear down, fuel pump on. That sounds sensible, thank you Brett. Scott mentioned quite some time ago that he will use the Comanche's electric fuel pump whenever he's low enough to the ground that the failure...

Re: Performed Update Lost Internal Sound

Just updated my Comanche 250 for the first time and lost all internal sounds. I have no A2A program running in my Systray. Edited exe.xml as suggested but didn't help. As far as I can tell I have no HelperA2AserviceMSFS.exe on my system. Not needed since V 1.4 per multiple threads around here... ht...
