You can use it for VFR too. But I find myself using it a lot more for IFR. For pattern work I just end up talking to myself mostly at some uncontrolled airport.

Re: Piper Arrow IV

JustFlight has a Piper Arrow III and IV for P3D. They are pretty good too. You can even have a simulated oxygen system for them.

They're not A2A versions but they are pretty good.

Re: MSFS2020 is completely unrealistic with new wind model

I have to admit I'm liking FS2020 more as time passes. It needs work for sure but the potential is there. Right now for me anyway it's basically a VFR sim as Asobo for some reason seems hell bent on avoiding the absolutely unbelievably bad ATC interfacing. As I said........a work in progress. I hon...

Re: MSFS Transferable Persistent Data?

In the past if we got a new PC we could go to /Documents/A2A/FSX/Cherokee180 (for example) and copy in those files to the new PC.

However, I don't know if A2A will have MSFS persistent state set up the same way or not.

I don't have any news, but isn't the Hobbs data stored in a text file? If this trend continues you could conceivably transfer your hours. I'm sure we'll know more as time passes.

May be a language issue but why is it "sad to read"? It just looks like a bunch of people over there asking questions, that's all.

Edit: Glad to see DH's response though. :)

I thought it was from the movie Firefox, where the Soviet guys kept asking him, "Your papers please" "papers, please"...

Haha in my case it was just a word play on Missouri being the "Show Me" state. I live roughly three blocks from the house we lived in when I was born  Good on you for knowing our motto for the "Show Me State". I wonder how many Canadians know that. Conversely....does Alber...

Re: Pilot2ATC And Accusim

I use Pilot2ATC with A2A aircraft. Seems to all work fine.

Pilot2ATC's interface is cumbersome, but in the end most of that stuff isn't critical to use the program. Once you know what to do, it's not so bad.

Where I'm at in the USA, we're looking at HIGH temps of -19 degrees Celsius this coming Sunday. Latitude is 40.2 so we're not really THAT far north. Brrrr. Wonder if it is possible to get the Texan started in those temps. I'm at 35 deg N latitude in the USA and it's supposed to drop to -15C tonight...

Re: RTX 3070 will kill a RTX 2080 Ti for $500 ???

What I should like to know, as we are here in a flight simulation forum, how does a RTX3080 compare in performance (fps) to, say, a RTX1080Ti? After all, the actual question for us here is: how much (if at all) does it make my FS behave better if I install a 3080? And/or: hiw much does it improve t...
