Hi Nick,
and thanks for your reply.
I didn't want to ask for updates. In fact I want to know if there is a stepping back of the ammeter OR isn't this effect seen in real life.
Regards,
Zacke

Any chance to see when the battery is fully charged?
Hi guys, with most of the other (A2A) planes you see the ammeter stepping back or slowly neutralizing when the battery is fully charged. Any chance to see a fully charged battery with the Cherokee? Since now I never noticed a stepping back with the ammeter but maybe there's one with a closer oberser...

rudder damage not simulated?
Hey guys, I played around with the "used" option within the Skylane simulation and discovered the rudder never shows any damage. Also with the walkaround there's no item for the rudder. Am I right the rudder has no damage simulation here? If so no problem for me seeing the A2A Skylane is s...

empty weight arm of the A2A Skylane?
Hey guys,
lately I discovered https://www.pohperformance.com. For the weight and balance calculations there you can define the empty weight and the empty weight arm. The standard value für the 182T empty weight arm is 36,9 iches. Does that fit the A2A simulation?
Thanks in advance,
Zacke

Re: electric elevator trim: electric load?
Thanks for your reply.
The A2A Skylane indeed has a electrical elevator trim system operated by the buttons on the yoke. You can asign a joystick button and you can see the movement of yoke buttons.

Zacke

Re: Proper climb procedures ?
Hey guys, an older topic but I still have a question: In climb when reaching an altitude where you have to push the throttle full in for maintaining 23 MP isn't that the condition of maximum power and you should reduce fuel flow according to the "maximum power fuel flow chart"? In other wo...

NAV1 DME vs standalone DME
Hey guys, today I idled at the ramp of 4B8 ;) and tested some systems of my brand new Skylane. Among other stuff I checked the VOR, ADF and DME acoustic code transmission and found two (maybe) weird things: While NAV1 and NAV2 receiving signals from HFD (14.6 nm) including DME the standalone DME doe...

electric elevator trim: electric load?
Hey guys,
shouldn't the electric elevator trim show some load on the amp meter? Or is the amp meter wired "after" the elevator trim motor (like the gear retraction motor of the Comanche)?
Thanks in advance,
Zacke

91 and 100 octane fuel
Hey guys, I'm going to do an around the world trip with the P40 and want to simulate the limited availability of fuel in remote locations. The question is: Where are the P40's limits with 91 octane fuel? With the Spit the limitations were quite clear via manual and forum. Any suggestions here for th...

Hifi AS16: What kind of weather data sources is used?
Hey guys, I wonder what kind of weather data sources are used with Hifi's Active Sky 2016. So far I thought only METARs, winds aloft and SIGMET/AIRMETS are used to create the weather synthesis. But recently I discovered (several times) that there were thunderstorms present in the sim (FSX:SE) more o...

aileron trim vs. rudder trim
Hey guys, I fly they C model exclusively and I wonder when to use aileron trim or when to use rudder trim. The more simple models like the Spitfire, Skylane and Cherokee (etc.) only have rudder trim and are absolutely fine with that. Therefore so far I use only rudder trim with the P40C to counterac...
