Couldn't resist to test that bush adventure. I think it's a really nice tour.
The great surprise did arise at the airfield Frampton (MT97), a real tough one, with a runway length of only 921 ft!
I intend to join on Sunday night.

Re: Sunday 22 aug, Black Forest sightseeing
Hi Toby and joining sim fellows,
thanks for your salute.
My neighbours asked me whether I knew what all these aircrafts and their noise was about.
Hope you had fun on your Palatinate - Black forest tour.

Hey - what's the worst that can happen?
You post the wrong time for departure and nobody shows up.
Even my spouse knew and asked me: "Don't you usually start at 1800z?"
Anyway, it was fun again to fly with you, the misfit squadron.

Are you using any third party virus scanner next to Windows defender?
If so, turn them off or deinstall them.
I have only Windows defender active on my computer and don't realize any problems with A2A crates.
Kind regards
Gernot aka AMA230

Thanks Ian for setting up this flight along the Australian beach to our destination YBCG, Gold Coast. I enjoyed this flight very much - inclusive the surprises we - or better I had. Well this fault at YRED, Redcliff was definitely caused by the pilot (who actually was me ) using too much break...

Gernot stated "I will provide you with a more detailed LittleNavMap flightplan soon."...there is no flight plan yet. Paul http://www.sonic.net/~csardas/Avatars/A2A_MM.jpg Sorry Paul, I had problems posting the plan in this community, however, I posted it in the respective Discord thread. ...

We start in Switzerland at Altenrhein, LSZR close to the water mouth of the river Rhine into the Lake of Constance. We cross the eastern part of the Lake of Constance heading for Lindau in Germany. From there heading east, we fly over the German alpine upland called Allgaeu until we reach two famous...

Hi Ian, hi fellow simmers, other than with our Norway tour this Friday, in this southern region at 2000z, which will be our planned arrival time at our destination airport, it already will be dark night at LGKR. Therefore I propose to start at 1800z realtime, but set the sim time to 1600z. This will...

It's been a while since a planned flight has generated so much interest and comments! Lots of factors going on here. I'm looking forward to this one. Seeya ATB Well Paughco, it's important that we successfully deliver our load. If not the Berlin inhabitants will have to suffer from our incapacity. ...

Ian, I have to admit, I was not precise in my first comment. You are right, both VOR's you are refering to (GOT and BBI VOR's) are located within the "free flying zone". But why do they not show up in the chart of the DOD? I have no information about when these two VOR's have been installe...

... ... After take off we fly South to the RAD VOR, then the CHA VOR, then FUL VOR. From here we enter the Southern Corridor to Berlin. We have been assigned a cruising altitude of exactly 10,000 feet. The corridor is 20 miles wide. If we stray from this we can expect a visit from the Soviet Mig 15...

Ad 1: go to hangar (shift+7) and deselect.
Ad 2: well the bo is an old aircraft with historical technical solutions not a 21st century built jet. Me too I had problems with the AP, but believe me, training helps a lot.
Enjoy the bo.

Re: Warm up distance flight
Hi awash, sounds interesting to perform a flight around the world in a "small" Bonanza. I only made it in an A319 and in a CRJ900. What is your flightplan looking like or did you not yet plan in detail? I agree with what bobsk8 said, plus I'd take her up to about 5,000+ feet AGL and practi...
