Input Clash with Tablet and Heading Control

So I gave up on the A2A configurator it was REALLY bad and inconsistent.

So, using Axis and Ohs, the Lvar commands for increasing and decreasing heading bug.... also toggles the tablet !

Can this be fixed please as it is awful like this.

Thnx

Do repaints automatically incl PBR where appropriate?

So I have the 172 which has PBR inside and out.

Will using 3rd party liveries work properly or do they need to be PBR Compliant, for want of a better term.

Thnx

Re: can someone explain PBR and what to expect?

Metallic surfaces look best.

PBR quality depends on skill of dev doing it.

It's effects depend very much on light sources: angles, colours and intensity ... and viewing angles.

It basically, makes reflections, look more realistic... physical accuracy and intensity are the main criteria affected.

Re: Thinking of this PC for P3D v4.

Still don't think you can whack all the sliders to the right, or you will be disappointed.

Also, forget True Earth, unless you're happy in a GA at 30 fps.

Single core speed has a long ways to go yet, before P3D can be treated like Battlefield 4.... unfortunately !

Re: Joystick Hat problem

Sorry to butt in, but please try Chaseplane if you haven't.

Since getting it and enduring the steep learning curve, I wonder how I ever managed without it.

Just a friendly 2-cents !

Re: FPS impact with cockpit lights on after PBR update

Good point about night flying.

I have found the following with SSAA or SGSS:

1. Glareshield (GS) at zero = 50% GPU useage.
2. GS set to one notch only = 70 % useage.
3. GS set to 2 notches or high = 90 percent useage.

None of the other lights make any difference.

For me, one notch is enough.

Re: C172 poor texture quality with new update.

C172 is now officially awesome.

Well done guys. Incredible that major upgrades keep coming for no cost to us.

First rain effects, now PBR and dynamic lighting, AND you fixed the issues... all before Xmas.

Here's hoping the Comanche and Bonanza will be next on the list.

Re: FPS impact with cockpit lights on after PBR update

Will other aircraft like the Comanche, 182 and Bonanza, be receiving the dtnamic lighting and PBR enhancements ?

Re: FPS impact with cockpit lights on after PBR update

Hello, First : thanks a lot for listening our feedback! second : unfortunately the new update doesn't change anything for me...even with turning off "dynamic lights" in P3D options, and I don't see any difference on the FPS between the optimized glareshield version and the original ( I've...

Woah.... I'll post some images. Try the French yellow and metal livery... with sun at around 11am in December. Stunning. Nice to know. What's it like at 09:30 in July? Suck it and see Ronnie, suck it and see. I wouldn't wish to ruin the surprise of beautifully done PBR. Oh.... you're being sarcasti...

Re: FPS impact with cockpit lights on after PBR update

Hello guys, We've just released another update for the 172 which allows you to select 'optimised' dynamic lighting via the aircraft configurator. This should allow a significant FPS boost for users of supersampling antialiasing (SSAA) albeit with somewhat reduced 'evenness' of the glareshield light...

I'm probably alone here but to me there is so little to get excited about PBR that I think 'Why bother?' Woah.... I'll post some images. Try the French yellow and metal livery... with sun at around 11am in December. Stunning. If it wasn't for the PBR I'd just go back to the earlier version as dynam...
