Re: Repaint request for my skylane

First, find the paint kit for your plane, usually part of the download when you purchased it and located somewhere on your hard drive. Second, find and download a good graphics editor. I use GIMP- a free, very good graphics editor. It gives the expensive ones a run for their money. Third, learn how ...

Rudder Sensitivity

To any RW 182 pilots out there who use FSX...

How sensitive do you set your rudder? I have read that all sensitivities should be max but my rudder seems to move a lot for the petal movement I give it. Trying to keep the ball centered during low speed / high torque is quite the feat!

Yes I do have it set as my default flight in the fsx.cfg file. I will have to fix that and see if it works!

Thanx :D

Re: Realistic Custom Camera settings for Cessna 172

Yes, best to not use a complex sim as a default flight.... So what you're saying is I shouldn't have my "saved flight" with my A2A plane load up as my "default flight"? I should just have the default 172 as my "default flight" and then load in the A2A? That sounds like something else to remember wh...

Re: Realistic Custom Camera settings for Cessna 172

My problem, in FSX, is all my camera views seem to randomly reset, ie., all point over the cowling. I have 8 camera views all set up on 45° increments and look around the cabin with a horizontal paddle switch on my yoke. Most of the time when I start FSX the cameras are ok but sometimes I have to...

Blow a circuit breaker? They do work in a 182.

Re: auto rudder

Well considering a Skylane does not have autorudder my answer would have to be no.
It would be very hard to keep your plane rolling down the centerline during takeoff. When you do your rotation it is going to get exciting very quickly. How fast are YOUR reactions?

Re: Constantly turning to the left

I always have mine set to nuetral for take off and landing. There is so much foot work involved during those phases there is no need to have any compensation applied, especially during the takeoff roll and initial climb.

Just my 2¢ worth :D

I've heard that commercial pilots back in the day used to use the adf to pick up ball games as they streaked across the skies.

If I had music on, I prefer music from the 60's... the 1760's that is. :D

Did they have music back then?

truth be told I rarely listen to music while flying. I like the cockpit sounds myself!

Re: what music do you listen to while flying A2A Planes?

Well considering I have over 500 hours of classic rock MP3s, pretty much anything from the 60's through the 90's. Shuffled that is....

ROCK AND ROLL!!!
