Re: FSX CTD (Can't get help anywhere else)
What if my flights are longer than 3 hours?

Re: FSX CTD (Can't get help anywhere else)
I might add that I've already gone through the whole "completely uninstalling FSX and all its addons and residual files and starting over" process 3 times and I am not looking forward to doing that again and if it comes to that, honestly my simming days will probably be over.

FSX CTD (Can't get help anywhere else)
So, this isn't a new problem for me, but it's the reason I just don't sim anymore. I'd switch to a newer sim like P3D but they just don't have the aircraft addons that I fly. This has been happening for the past two years now and it's the reason I go for months without simming because I get frustrat...

Re: The secret airplane in development
Come on guys, a U2? Be real. Not sure if serious. A2A's specialty is GA and pistons. Why would they suddenly jump to a high altitude jet powered military aircraft? Perhaps you didn't quite follow that U-2 was subtly humorous suggestion to play with the jet idea. ;) But it fits the "data" ...

Re: The secret airplane in development
Come on guys, a U2? Be real. I honestly don't care about the secret project now that I know it won't be a COTS. The Bonanza will be exciting and may even be my first GA purchase, but in my personal opinion A2A is overdue for another piston-liner.

Re: A2A Development Update Dec 2017
I did that two weeks ago. The "Late February/early March" window passed long ago.patful wrote:I've lost all hope for a March announcement. I don't even read this thread anymore. Really, I don't. I swear.

Re: A2A Development Update Dec 2017
Something is afoot indeed! Just noticed this was taken off the announcement boards and immediately thought "It's a SIGN! Buckle up!"

Re: A2A Development Update Dec 2017
Alright, I know the team is working very hard and doesn't like keeping their traps shut until things are ready, but c'mon... don't tell us you'll have something for us in "Late February/Early March" if you're not 100% sure... That window has long passed and even I am getting impatient

Re: Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
Your gross misloading was that you loaded the center first then the wings instead of the wings first. You said so in your first post. If you have nearly empty wings and full center and he's programmed to go through the progression sequentially and can't skip a step. So if you have the Center Tank a...

Re: Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
Makes no difference how you load the fuel, the FE will try to follow the same logic Except it does and it's been reported multiple times that it does. If you grossly misload the airplane (as he was doing and I've confirmed and posted in the past) the FE isn't able to deal with a bad load and will n...

Re: Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
Landed with 1000 pounds of fuel left. shaved that one close. If I have problems with the FE again I'll reply to this thread. Thanks for you input.FAC257 wrote:That's excellent news.

Re: Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
>>> "The FE has switched the outboards to "TANK-TO ENG AND MAN" and the inboards to "MAN TO ENG". <<< That is correct. What you'll probably see happen is that when the outboards also reach 2000, the FE will make another tank/engine/feed configuration change so that he's pul...

Re: Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
Firstly, at 2000 lbs in the inboard tanks, the FE should already be running the inboard tanks from the manifold. Once the inboards hit the 2000 mark, he'll run all four engines from the outboard tanks, until the outboards also hit 2000 lbs. At that point where both inboards and outboards are at 200...

Incompetent Flight Engineer, the Sequel
I am currently doing a flight from KBOS to EHAM, and I calculated a fuel load of 43,014 pounds. This should give me, with a 90 knot tailwind at 25,500 feet, an hour's surplus of fuel for the usual (diversion, holding etc.) This much fuel pretty much tops off every tank, so all the tanks are virtuall...
