Re: Selling some sim gear
I just wanted to update, the CH quad throttle is pending sale for a fair price. I still have the Cessna style throttles and trim wheel if anyone is interested. Shipping might be a bit more with these as they are a bit larger.

Selling some sim gear
Hi all...been a long long time. I'm getting ready to move soon, and I haven't played flight sim since 2019. Last time I flew from KFSM - KOSH for oshkosh. Just really burnt me out, and I realized it always pushed me to fly in the real world, which I'll simply never have the realistic funds to do so....

Re: Away for 8 months
Thank you both! I picked up the P-40 and J-3. I'm hoping to not get as burnt out this time around.

Away for 8 months
Hello everyone! I have been away from flightsim for 8 months, and I am needing a little help on what all may have changed, and what I need to do to get back up to speed. I believe my simulator is v4.4? I think v4.5 came out(?) but I am not sure if A2A aircraft are compatible? Are there any other maj...

Re: Oshkosh 2019 (Simulator)
Well I made it just in time! I arrived at KOSH Oshkosh 2019 last night at about 9PM. I had to divert and land after some IFR due to real world events. I had not planned any IFR however I ran into some lingering clouds in northern Illinois yesterday. I was glad I went IFR at 7K, as you will see in th...

Re: I spent my Saturday in the Skylane
Cool pics. Just got my sim up and running again and using the Volair sim cockpit. Only have the T6 set up so far with all the levers and buttons. So much more fun flying it with a stick between your legs instead of the yoke. I’ll have to set up each plane individually. How do you like the Volair ...

Re: Oshkosh 2019 (Simulator)
Well for no real reason other than because I was enjoying it, I decided to use the C182...I've been using it lately and I am really comfortable flying it. Here, I made a cheesy YouTube video of the first leg. There are some cool time lapses and pans at about 5 minutes in. https://youtu.be/6_gNQ7Sjon...

Re: I spent my Saturday in the Skylane
Nice! I too was in the Skylane Saturday, and got rained on at my destination. Some late afternoon pop-up thunderstorms made it for a very bumpy ride into KMEZ. Lucky VFR prevailed with 5mile vis in rain...Here are some ramp shots I took. https://i.imgur.com/stvxFIa.png https://i.imgur.com/fXzWo3n.pn...

Oshkosh 2019 (Simulator)
Well it's that time of the year again! This time I've actually managed to remember and I'm excited to make my first trip to KOSH in the simulator. It will be at least a 590 mile trip one way, or around 1200 miles round trip. It looks like I'm going to make 5 stops a long the way. I can't decide what...

Re: Should A2A release official trainers even if not "complete" by our standard?
Given the latest I saw on facebook, I would vote yes, as long as there are some form of checklists to follow, given there would be no manual. Otherwise the user is just left to guessing. It would be just a almost hybrid version of the old Air Factory brand. Nobody shamed A2A for those planes back in...

Re: Most Personal A2A Plane
It would have been more interesting if you had listed all the A2A fleet available for P3dV4. I spend more of my time in the Comanche, as it is the one plane here I could see myself owning if I had completed my pilot training. On that basis, any vote I cast is not reflective of your question. I wond...

Paid Repaint Request (Serious)
Hi all! I'm looking for a re-painter who would be interested in making a paid repaint for me of the A2A Cessna 182T. Story: Many many years ago in my youth, my grandmother owned a 1964 Cessna 182. I remember during the summer and winter breaks from school, traveling to a rural tiny airport out in th...

Most Personal A2A Plane
Is for sure a loaded question, but of the new P3D aircraft (Bonanza, P51D variants, P40, and Spitfire) which one feels the most Personal in terms of the cockpit, fly-ability, and such? Which aircraft makes you feel like "This is my plane" the most? Or which plane has the atmospheric feel t...

Re: Interest gone...any one else experienced this?
WOW! Thank you all very much for the many responses. There are some really good ideas here, that I will try out. I have been thinking about VR lately too, maybe that is a future investment. I will keep an eye out on the multiplayer weekly flights, and see if one comes up at a time when I am available!
