Re: Autopilot oscillation in Alt Hold mode
I am using the Sperry. I am cruising at 25000 ft. There are no wind gusts. This happens every time I'm in straight and level flight. I can sit there and watch the VVI go up and down +/- 200 feet. Two seconds down, then 2 seconds up. Other A2A planes I have, 172,182, T-6 don't oscillate. Sent from m...

Re: Autopilot + pitch
I hit Ctrl-N which is the FSX default for autopilot nav mode. Works great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk In which case why not just fly a 737? Why DO people buy aircraft with complex systems and then set about stripping away that which makes them complex? If you're not up to the challenge, too l...

Re: Autopilot oscillation in Alt Hold mode
As Alan suggests, wholly insufficient information for a troubleshoot. Please either modify the original post or supply it below. Note: It is entirely normal for the trim wheel to move as the the aircraft responds with gust alleviation and weather changes en route. It should actually be doing that wi...

Re: Load into the simulator to find plane damaged.
I do not have a "complex flight" as my default.. It is Coventry Air port.. Ramp 2... A2A Cessna 172.. Current weather. Current time and day. That is it.. Those are the absolute minimums I can choose, I NEED to pick a plane, I need to pick a location. Need to pick weather, need to pick tim...

Re: Saitek Cessna Trim Wheel not properly controling trim
P3D V4 Aircraft I have a Saitek Trim Wheel that works in all other cases; including the P3D4 180. However, it doesn't matter whether I assign the axis to elevator control through P3D controls, FSUIPC or SPAD.next. When I move the trim wheel the handle jumps around, the needle jumps back and forth b...

Re: Landing lights in the VC
I finally started flying at night in the Texan. Once airborne, the landing light cones disappear in the VC, but they're still visible in spot and tower views (from any angle, at all altitudes). The ground is illuminated, just no cones. Is this by design? P3D v4, Windows 10 64, no other addons. Prob...

Re: c172 trainer takeoff trim
Thanks to all who replied so quickly. HOWEVER... I am not mistaken about this problem. I am a private pilot who flies C172s. ... Same happens to me. I fully agree with wbrown! I've finished my 100hrs on RW this week, mostly on c172's and c152's. And I can confirm, none of them tends to turn to the ...

Re: V4 update and other sellers
I'm waiting for Just Flight to upload it. Not that I've installed V4 yet anyway, there are still a couple of other add-ons that need updating first... It does seem a bit strange having to rely on third-party vendors for updates. Why is this? What happens if they go out of business? If I buy a copy ...

Re: Virtual Cockpit Panel Only View is black no panel in Coc
It sounds like your issue might be more with view controls and now knowing how to move around and zoom and out for example in the Virtual cockpit? Yes, the gauges are way too small for me to see. I can zoom in, but I liked the 2D panel being static with all of the gauges / switches in view. I have ...

Re: P3d V4 Update
I purchased the Constellation from PCaviator and they still have not updated the Connie. Is there some other way to get the update short of purchasing the plane again? Is it legal for someone to send me the download, or A2A to graciously help me out? I would really like to be able to use it for thi...

Even though your talking to a "If it ain't broken don't fix it" kind of guy, I'll humbly bow to the experience. Will be back to let you know how it went...B The Good Thing about P3D v4 is that once you understand HOW, the DOING is actually significantly easier and quicker than it was in F...
