Re: Flightchops learns some important stuff during his biannual flight review
Thanks Esa… So - to continue this exercise - my Vs1 is 63 KIAS * 1.404 - comes out to approx. 88.5 KIAS... I do the normal Flaps 1 abeam the numbers - Flaps 2 on base - Flaps 3 on final... As I fly now - I'm sure I'm normally at 75 KIAS turning base to final... As per this video - I should attempt...

Re: When will A2A tackle this?
Hi Esa, Unfortunately in this case - he couldn't get the engine started - wanted the airport personnel to attempt to "jump" him but they didn't have the equipment (I don't know the electrical system but odd that he wanted a jump with an engine that could be started) - and subsequently anno...

Re: When will A2A tackle this?
Hi Folks, We had someone @ my homedrome (KMGJ) die in one - decided the little placard that stated "don't take off on one engine" really didn't mean that much and commenced takeoff with one dead engine... The dead engine wasn't even feathered during post crash examination... I swear - we'r...

Hi Folks, I think they (both twins had an aircraft) beat the speed record set by Howard Hughes for a coast to coast flight in a piston powered aircraft... Not too shabby... Mike had a twin turbo Continental TIO-550 six-cylinder engine in his Legacy, and Mark had a twin turbo Lycoming TIO-580 six-cyl...

Hi Richard,
Check your store account - I believe there is a v4 specific download - been down the same path...
A new purchase shouldn't be necessary as all P3D was covered...

Scott

Re: Skylane and RXP GNS
Hi Scott, Once things have quietened down a bit behind the scenes, we'll look into updating third-party GPS compatibility wherever possible. Unfortunately, keeping the existing fleet updated so that it supports the various third-party GPS add-ons can be a bit of a Sisyphean task. Thanks, Nick Hi Ni...

Re: What GPS do you recommend me?
What are the main differences Scott? I only have the Flight1 version, which I find to be incredible. Hi Chunk, Been a while since I installed my F1 products - so I could be a little behind the times on the F1 implementation but I don't think so... I also don't think they're actively improving the F...

Re: Chart on Aux tablet or display +
Do you have to be using GPS while in flight simulation to use this. Will VFR without GPS work using charts? Hi John, I’ve never tried it without a GPS - however - I’m pretty sure the only thing that little program is doing - is transferring your actual position from one program to the other - i...

Hi Ron,rhenson529 wrote: ↑05 Sep 2019, 23:49 I second Scott and use FltPlan too. Great tool and use it in the real world too. It’s fun to record your flight path in both real world and sim.

Scott Are there instruction on the site as to how to connect to an Ipad for viewing the charts in flight? John Hi John, Yep - here’s how to connect - need a little program to facilitate communications - link for program included...it’s labeled FSX - works with P3D as well... https://fltplan.com...
