Re: Flying help needed - slowing this plane down for landing
Hello Styggron On your fist issue I cannot speak to it. I may have had that years and years ago but do not remember for sure. On slowing the plane down for landing I can only speak to how I do it. When first flying the B17 I had this same trouble. I did learn quickly NOT to pull props below 1600 RP...

Re: The amazingCaptain of the Ship for B377
I am reaaaallly yearning for this aircraft to come to MSFS now. (I fly the Strat in P3Dv3, installed exclusively for that purpose but v3 seems to be buggy and crashy as all hell) We have the DC-6 from PMDG as the only serious golden age (I mean late 40's through the 50's) propliner in MSFS at the m...

Flying help needed - slowing this plane down for landing
Hello everyone, I recently started flying this beautiful plane again but am running into a few issues. 1. I understand there is still a bug with it in where you can repair a broken landing gear link in the hangar but when you take off the issue returns. I was told the fix is you need to fix it in th...

Re: thinking of buying
Hi Styggron. If you make a heavy landing , but dont see any faults in the hangar , but cannot retract or extend gear , even when you hand crank it , this means you have broken the landing gear link , only way i have found to fix this , is to fix anything you see broken in the hanger and shut sim do...

Re: The amazingCaptain of the Ship for B377
It is truly amazing how after so many years on the B377, and still me not being able to fly her well consistently, (but that is down to my incompetence completely), it is truly amazing how I hear Heidi still to this day say different words. Sure there are things I hear way more often than others bu...

Re: thinking of buying
it is a fantastic aircraft A2A have. It is one of their early titles. I had to make an adjust ment to the aircraft.cfgfile just so I could taxi it more easily. A2A have a 5 part tutorial on the aircraft as well which is very very useful. The hardest thing for me is always to slow down during descent...

Re: We have never been good about talking about projects in development
WOW How AMAZING is it when the Dev makes a post like that, just showing how over the top amazing the new accu-sim is. Totally makes sense to model planes you have access too. Lets hope one day, the B377 will make a come back because I'm not giving up my B377 for anything........ :) FSX...... I'm sti...

Re: We have never been good about talking about projects in development
thank you so much for the update Scott. Just you saying the new accu-sim is light years ahead is just incredible news. I mean, I still maintain there is nothing like it on FSX still to this day, it's going to be super amazing with the power of FSXI (MSFS). Really super hoping the B377 with COTS all ...

Re: Is there a chance to see accusim radial engines make a comeback in MSFS ?
Very welcome Styggron! Currently I'm researching the Bristol Britannia, and I'm half stunned why we don't have ANY rendition of the Britannia in any flight sim. Apart from XP10 I think and FS2004. The more I learn about it the more I think it's just up our street. It had its quirks, but the amazing...

Re: Parts the manual does not explain - navigator's station
He may very well be correct, however there is a comment below the video which I will past here. "my guestimate is that 'Voltage Selector' doesn't select source to system (BUS) but merely selects the source to show voltage of. The ON/OFF above it selects connect to the Bus. This is how its most...

Re: Parts the manual does not explain - navigator's station
Hi Treetops I was looking at another B377 tutorial and it contradicts what you say so now I am in the "ummmm so who is correct then?" It is timestamped at the point they talk about the APU. So they say you put the dial to battery and that means the battery is giving power to the plane. Thi...

Re: Parts the manual does not explain - navigator's station
Yes that is correct. It is only a voltage meter. During flight I leave it on Main Bus. As part of the half hourly checks I do during flight I rotate the dial to each position to make sure everything is ok. Thank you so much for all your help and patience. I was also trying to find out more about th...

Re: Is there a chance to see accusim radial engines make a comeback in MSFS ?
B377 all the way. I've reinstalled P3Dv3 just to fly it again in an unbroken fashion with cots etc. The B377 and the Connie in MSFS is the ultimate pinnacle for me :a2a: :D 100% with you B377 all the way. I'm still on FSX because it has my entire A2A and Aircraft Factory fleet. I'm not swapping ove...

Re: Kneeboard check list
Fantastic. Thank you so much. A while back when I was looking at individual files, pretty sure I found the text files you can modify the actual built in checklist that comes with the plane, I mean the A2A checklist. We could modify that too to make it look like this one yes? I just remember at the t...
