Re: Pushback turns

Is there a way to get the Connie to turn while in pushback? I am using P3D 5.3. Online searches say to use 1 or 2 key while in pushback, but I can't get that to work. Post very interesting as personnaly I was facing to the problem of pushback function not performed as expected applying however the ...

Re: Glareshield and Pedestal lights...very bad quality. [P3D4.3]

Happy to hear this option has helped Gerard. You'll find that dynamic lighting in P3Dv4 is a bit harder on FPS if you use SSAA rather than MSAA. I also recommend that you update to latest version of P3Dv4 to make sure you benefit from any performance optimisation made by Lockheed Martin. All the be...

Re: Glareshield and Pedestal lights...very bad quality. [P3D4.3]

Hello Gerard, Are you using the optimised glareshield lighting option for the 172 which is available via the aircraft configurator? If not, this is something you may wish to try: it uses fewer individual light sources so trades a bit of visual fidelity for a smaller performance cost. Thanks, Nick H...

Re: Glareshield and Pedestal lights...very bad quality. [P3D4.3]

Yes running P3D v4.5 with the HF3 apart to set 4xSSAA, FXAA off and 4096x4096 textures my system run pretty well the sim the CPU (i7 6700K @ stock 4.2Ghz) is working on evenly all 8 logical cores between 70 and 95% most of the time and the GC (GTX 1080) is working on a average load of 58/60%. What I...

Re: P3D v5 and Force Feed Back with a Sidewinder FFB Joystick

Hello sorry for occupying too long on this subject, but I discovered using the default in game P3D v4 or v5 FFB options, only for ground surface FFB, unplug off my MS Sidewinder FFB2 from the USB port then plug in it again when a scenario is active, for ground surface FFB they become again lowered a...

Re: Bonanza engine cranking issues

Still known issue with P3D v5 that L-M is aware using the ATC windows which give a DXGI HUNG error in the graphic driver. Flickering issue on the menus start window etc...Hope these could be fixed soon. Anyway @Lewis the "user reload object" with the R key works like a charm. No problem us...

Re: Bonanza engine cranking issues

Hello peoples, please go into your P3D controls settings and set a key for user vehicle reload. For mine I just set R key. Please press this if you experience the issue on start. It'll super quick reload your aircraft. From my findings so far this seems to correct the static prop broke bug and the ...

Re: Bonanza engine cranking issues

Hello friends, I also suffered the same fate with the start of the A2A C172 leak of fuel and oil blocking the propeller with the sound of the engine speed at the bottom in the background; the C172 is the only A2A aircraft I've experienced but I think it's the same for other GA A2A aircraft. What's s...

Re: P3D v5 and Force Feed Back with a Sidewinder FFB Joystick

Hello, I come back on this topic because I'm not satisfied with FS Force and I find that the FFB with DX12 is much more efficient and appropriate during flight on P3D v5. On the other hand on the ground/ taxiing is far too strong. So someone at A2A might tell me if the Force feed back paragraph in t...

Re: P3D v5 and Force Feed Back with a Sidewinder FFB Joystick

Hello, I go back on my tests of changes to the file aircraft.cfg but whatever I do, it has no results in the simulator. So I went back to using FSForce, which still seems better and softer depending on how I feel.

Re: P3D v5 and Force Feed Back with a Sidewinder FFB Joystick

Yes hello I also have Dirk's FSForce software I used for P3D v4. I'll still try by modifying some FFB settings in the aircraft.cfg and especially the gear bumps and ground effects by lowering the strenght values only to see if it improves something depending on how I feel. Thank you anyway for your ...

P3D v5 and Force Feed Back with a Sidewinder FFB Joystick

Hello, I'll need your help to know which FFB settings to change downwards in aircraft.cfg to decrease the joystick's return strength for ground roll. Indeed as soon as I reach a speed say 15/20 knots my joystick becomes brutal with movements from left to right more and more violent as the ground spe...

Re: Massive Spark Plugs Help

Yes I probably lean too much but if I follow the Scott's advice to set the 1000 rpm by adjusting the mixture and throttle, I get always fouled spark plugs when the run up come because my taxi way is a bit long to run at the active runway; if I understand you are meaning is to set the rpm at a steady...

Hooo , many thanks for the head up, what a beautiful and great work A2A team is making for all our pleasure and fun. I'm so impatient to get the new Piper Cub alive on P3D v4 but these news are very welcome. Keep up the good work and I'm sure this new model will be a success for the A2A shop. Thank ...
