I bought a new yoke so I don't need my CH yoke anymore. I'll PM you.

Re: GTN 650 + Radios

That's right, but the GTN does not tune the radio panels. It has it's own radio built in. It will take over COM1/NAV1. The radio panel then becomes COM2/NAV2.

Re: Twin recommendations?

Other than RealAir, the only twin I like is from Milviz. The C310R is very well done and is my favorite twin. It comes with analog gauges or G1000 if you prefer that. It also has integration for all the popular GPS panels and their new weather radar panel.

Re: What else are you playing?

Kerbal Space Program is great. The best I've done is successfully land on Mun, but couldn't make it back home lol. Designing rockets is definitely addicting.

I also play a couple survival games, The Forest and 7 Days to Die. They are fun if you enjoy the genre.

Re: GTN 650 + Radios

The GTN650/750 actually replaces the radios, it doesn't just tune them. So I think the radio panels are not used when you have the GTN installed.

Re: Differences between Mil and Civ models ?

I'd just really like to be able to use the default AP on all A2A craft. If it's a choice and people don't like it, they simply don't have to use it. Things like the Commanche and Cherokee have that odd AP which is less feature packed than the default FSX ones. Sure it is full on "how it is&quo...

Re: Differences between Mil and Civ models ?

The Civ Mustang is excellent. It has been the most fun of all aircraft to learn how to handle. Going from epic failure every time I try to take off to now being able to smoothly take off on any runway other than a really short one was a fun experience. Don't let the autopilot keep you away, it's act...

Re: Comanche and PC Specs

Well you can't go wrong with a GTX1080. I currently use a GTX1070 but previously I had a GTX970. I never had any low frame rates except in Orbx Southern California scenery. That's with an i7 4790 also. I didn't notice a big difference, at least in Prepar3D, when upgrading to the 1070. Other games it...

Re: Why I am never flying non-Accusim-planes

The biggest problem I have with other developers offerings is that they are too easy to master. That's what keeps me flying A2A planes. I haven't managed to master any of them yet. I'd say I'm close with the Comanche, but I have over 100 hours with the B377 and I still struggle to make a good landin...

Re: Saitek throttle further delay

I've been waiting for almost a year on a throttle order. I get periodic updates, but they always say that their problems are over and they expect to be able to ship it within a month or two. The first time I received an update was 7 months ago in January. Second time said I'd have it by May. So who ...

Re: New Yoke and Throttles

Nice setup! I considered going the multi-monitor route, but I ended up going with a 42" HDTV and am very happy with it. It's big enough to give good immersion and the $350 price tag was nice. Now, I mostly use the Oculus Rift for P3D but still use the TV sometimes and use it for other games. I ...

Re: 1st time with the Oculus Rift CV1!

I received my Oculus Rift on Saturday. Overall verdict is I'm really impressed with it but it still needs some work before it's something I'd recommend for mainstream gaming. First thing, of course, was doing some flying! FlyInside is a nice piece of software. It works perfectly with P3D. Once the C...

Re: Trouble with Saitek Yoke/throttles after upgrading to Wi

Looks like you tried it, but just to confirm... did you disable Selective Suspend in the USB Settings in Advanced Power Options?

Weird though. I had this problem and couldn't get rid of it in Windows 8.1. Upgrading to Win10 fixed it completely.
