Re: Airspeed indicator to knots mod

Just curious, but why the concern of knots vs. mph? If the POH of an aircraft states to do your approach (say) at "80", what difference does it make if it is knots or mph? I used to fly both Cessnas and a 65(?) Cherokee. In real life, it made no difference if one aircraft used mph, and th...

Also note: The Fuel cutoff knob isn't the mixture lever.

Yep, that looks like it. I do indeed use FSUIPC to set different controls for different aircraft.

Helicopter Dirigible mode: on

So on the weekend, I was flying the C172 on a ~1 hour flight on Autopilot at 7000ft. At some point approaching YSCB (Orbx Canberra) the aircraft completely flipped out of the sky. Turned the PC off and called it a night. Then later I was preparing to depart YSBK Bankstown (new OZx addon) and... well...

Re: First flight in C172

The thing that got me the first few times is the fuel cut off lever, which apparently the C172N and C172M my old flight school owned didn't have. Ensure it is pushed all the way in, otherwise the fuel won't come through even with full mixture setting and the fuel pump on. https://s20.postimg.org/9xi...

Re: REQUESTED PAINTS

Hi awesome repainters. I'm hoping someone might be able to make a repaint of C172 "VH-JKN" for me. I promise I'll showcase your repaint on my youtube channel ;) https://www.youtube.com/musicalaviator Here's a photo of VH-JKN (yes that's me standing in front of it) at YWOL Wollongong (yes t...

Re: Sharing that cockpit again

You know, I wouldn't mind sharing cockpits with the likes of C172/P28A too. The A2A, Maddog and Aerosoft A320 become such more when you can do that. Flying some manouvers with pilot/student would be a new kind of awesome, even if the perpetual aircraft parts were 'turned off' during the multiplayer ...

Re: Autopilot and the trim wheel

I have also had this issue with only the C182. No problem with the Piper Cherokee. I like to think of it as "runaway trim" The Autopilot button is now the "full forward trim" button. Strangely, the trim rolls forward to the stop, but the autopilot remains in 'almost' control, com...
