Re: Accu-sim T-6 Paint Kit

The link is working again now but having seen I had 6hrs 20mins before completion.. I think I'll wait until the A2A server can handle it. Once more, thanks for your efforts

Re: just a preview of a WIP

I appreciate you don't ever see glass as totally transparent.. as if it's not there but the glass as shown in shot 4 doesn't look right either. It's only a step or so away from being white. I'm not talking about the reflection of the sun on it but the overall colour of the glass either side of the r...

Nice paints Tom

Lewis.. look at the canopy glass in the 4th shot. No sign of dense clouds either

Re: Canopy glass

I think I see where you're coming from but (coincidentally) the glass in Manfred's model isn't affected by clouds like the A2A models. The only other models I've seen do this (lit glass) are John Young's AI and perhaps older FS9 models. Tower view is known to throw up inconsistencies.. even at near ...

Re: Canopy glass

The visibility setting will certainly enhance the ghostly appearance of mountains on the horizon. My default is 20miles as we rarely get better in the UK. Using FSUIPC to 'clear all weather' will have these distant mountains spring into clarity and from what I've seen.. without exception the ghostly...

I don't have John's eye for detail on the Mustang (who does!!) but I have the sound problem and also, the floating rear wheel at light loads

Re: Canopy glass

Are you seeing white mountains on the horizon then? I think I've see this for as long as I can remember  As far as A2A's 'non standard' glass materials go.. I mean no disrespect in my comment so I hope none was taken. For unusual glass.. probably the best I've seen is from Alabeo.. in particula...

Re: Canopy glass

Thanks Lucas/Lewis. I've just dug the AF 504, Albatros and Anson out of hibernation and of the 3.. the Albatros glass also 'lights up'.. the other two are sound. Not sure what to say really. Whatever 'non standard' material these models are using for glass, it doesn't (IMHO) look any different (or b...

Re: Canopy glass

Dave, just a thought - what do mountains look like off in the far distance, in the haze ? Are they white too ? Serious question, honest. :) Hello Mate.. As it happens.. mountains on the horizon can also look white.. like an eerie shadow if you will. This gradually clears the closer one gets. Do you...
