Re: P-51D cockpit build

Raceguy,

I'm considering starting my own cockpit build. I recently graduated from college and I got my first job. Therefore, it will probably be a back burner project.

Did you buy any drawings or blueprints?. If so, which ones and where did you buy them?

Re: New Kermie Cam (P-51D part 3, must watch!)

I updated the first post with part 3 of the p-51d Kermie Cam series. Unlike the other Kermie cams, Kermit recorded his voice using a GoPro. This is a great addition to the video. (Spoiler) Also, something in the aircraft fails, which made the landing a little sketchy. :P Really impressed how Kermit ...

Re: Vlado Lenoch

Man, gutted to read this. I heard about the crash a while ago, but didn't realise it was Vlado. My thoughts go out to his friends and family. His help with the developing the A2A p-51 is greatly appreciated. To this day, it's still my favourite plane to fly in a sim.

Re: New Kermie Cam (P-51D)

P-51D part 2 added to first post. Really want to thank A2A for the p-51. The fact that I start the p-51d in the same way as Kermit is amazing. The dynamic starting is spot on! Even the startup sound is incredibly similar. Having said that, I almost always get the mustang to start on the first try. 8...

Re: New Kermie Cam

Saw their Storch flying at FoF when I was there in 2012. It was so amazing to see this plane go from stop to airborne in 4 seconds. :D Cheers, Mike His Storch Kermit cam was uploaded a little while ago. I posted his new p-51d Kermit cam a couple of days ago. I updated the first post to avoid confus...

thanks,

Yes, I own one :D . This would work for people that have home cockpits (like raceguy), because their cockpit will still be visible through their VR-headset.

Edit: I didn't realise the Vive could already do this. Awesome!

Re: New Kermie Cam

This was extremely informative to watch. Wow! This made it clear to me that a2a's p-51d needs a walk around badly! But I think Lewis or Scott said that it's pretty much impossible. Maybe the p3d v4 version?

Ultimate solution for home cockpits?

It's been a while since I last posted here. The 64 bit releases has made me interested in flight sims again. I recently came across this picture from one of Verstappen's (f1 driver) sponsers. http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/m6unrzkgdqkpxtm/DCMxINsWsAAE2vD.jpg?dl=0 The sim is surrounded by green s...
