Re: P3D 4.5 Hot Fix is up...
Works fine for me...after a self-induced headache. Anticipating Orbx Australia v2, I installed a fresh copy of Windows 10, bought a GTX 1080, then installed P3D. I was met with awful screen tearing and FPS about the same as my GTX 1060, completely freaked out. For anyone who might have forgotten li...

Cannot get back into my account
Hi Long time A2A customer here, I have been away from simming for a while and recently loaded the sim back up. I wanted to redownload my products, and saw the option of either logging into the old shop and / or submitting the form to link your new account. However I cannot get into the old shop as n...

That's great to hear, cheers Scott. Looking forward to flying my A2A's over that super sharp scenery.Scott - A2A wrote:Yes, as long as you have an A2A P3D product in the store, it will get upgraded.BabtridgeMcJoystick wrote:I am on P3D 2.5, can I still get the free upgrade to v4?

Re: P3D 64-bit
We have a lot of devs that hang about in discord chat, and one said that the aircraft that will be most affected are those that use DLL's extensively. I don't know if A2A aircraft do or not, but for a pretty complex addon I am guessing some fairly extensive re-jigging will be needed. As A2A stuff ar...

Re: Request: Add "Door opening in flight" Failure?
I've had an old 152 door pop open on me on take off. It can't go far. The air flow keeps it shut. Nudge it out and give it a good slam to solve the problem. The lock in the A2A 172 is a different, much more positive locking mechanism . Pretty certain if the latch is hard down the door can't even be...

Re: Request: Add "Door opening in flight" Failure?
If the door popped open I doubt it would open much at all, I doubt a smart phone would be able to slip through at flying airspeed. I'm not really sure about adding this as a distraction, I doubt it would have the same affect as you don't have the air movement, pressure drop hitting your eardrums an...

Re: Request: Add "Door opening in flight" Failure?
My instructor, prior to solo, popped the door open on me just after rotation. Made a heckuva racket. Those guys love to throw little tests at you. I hear a common one is to try and get you distracted by a really enthusiastic conversation on your favourite topic when you are on final to see if you w...

Re: Request: Add "Door opening in flight" Failure?
Howdy Oracle 427, thanks for the reply! So its kind of a rookie error if this happens to you? Sounds about right - the only time I've had bad stuff happen to me in sim (read: flap failure. That was very exciting especially as I was wearing a VR headset at the time) is when I fail to do my walkround....

Request: Add "Door opening in flight" Failure?
Hi I've been seeing a few videos on youtube lately where student pilots have doors opening on them, which is apparently quite common in some cessna's. The one's I have seen appear to be 152's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZmCLSaOW30 https://youtu.be/LzCpCmMuNJg?t=8m1s In the second, note the ins...

I'd need to look into how you do that, but its also possible I need to configure the P3D decompiler in the options screen, I will check it out.skidmarkz wrote:Will it load using the .cfg file instead of the .mdl file?

Re: Alternate Pilot Models?
Technically its possible to fit the face onto the most fitting of the two male models available. F1 drivers tend to have a good amount of reference in the web I'd say and I'm sure they wouldn't take their helmets into a slow C172, lol :D You may be right. They MIGHT wear their sponsor baseball cap ...

Hello, I have the same problem. When I trie to load/open a model file nothing happens after clicking "open". I have to load the plane into the sim after eaht change I make. Very time consuming. So I'm looking foreward to a solution. Kind regards, Eddy It looks as though only the FSX model...
