Re: Problems with fishtail in windy conditions

OK Guys and Girls...I think I have found the problem! I don't know how many times over the past few days that I have been into AS and messed around with the wind settings but today I discovered that under the wind options you find the option for Maximum Wind Shear which should default to 50% and som...

Re: Problems with fishtail in windy conditions

Just to make sure, does it do it with ActiveSky off or only with it on? Does it do it in all phases of flight or just climb or just cruise, etc.? I like them both, but I think I like the Comanche just a bit more. It feels weird transitioning between the two. It is a problem with AS on or off. I hav...

Re: Problems with fishtail in windy conditions

Best cure: Get a Comanche. I've got both of 'em, and while the Bonanza is a bit faster, the Comanche flies like it's on rails. Just be ready with the carb heat. Seeya ATB Yep...I own the Comanche also and it is great to fly. I use the Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo set up and so far have not seen a good pro...

Re: Problems with fishtail in windy conditions

Thanks...I keep seeing posts like your answer but I I have searched for video of the V tail as well as reviews and I have not seen one where the nose is swinging back and forth 8 or 10 degrees constantly. Unless there is a FAA restriction that keeps this aircraft grounded in more than 5 or 6 kts of ...

Problems with fishtail in windy conditions

I have been spending a lot of time with the V tail lately and love flying it. I was wondering if anyone may have some suggestions on tamping down the nose movement in winds. I am using Ver 5 of P3d and have read all of the comments that I can find on the subject. I get it that the V tail is differen...

Help with the Reality XP GTN 750

I am trying to find a way to use the RXp 750 without the Flight 1 replacement method. I am pretty sure I have seen some hacks to the .cfg files but for the life of me I can't come up with the correct search terms. Could some one point me to the right thread to get this working on the Comanche. I wou...

Re: (Its Back) Bonanza Only Aircraft Broken

Sounds like a problem with SimConnect initialising this time. How are you loading the Bonanza in the sim? If you've saved it within your default P3D scenario, that's one common mistake which can cause this issue. Thanks, Nick I have not had a problem with this but how do you recommend loading the B...

Re: Instrument lights blinking or flashing constantly

Are you running nay third party global programs such as FSUIPC (which had a battery option) or any graphical add-ons?

BINGO!! You guys are the greatest. It was the battery setting in FSUIPC. It was driving me crazy. Thanks to you all for the help.

Re: Instrument lights blinking or flashing constantly

Tried the reset a couple of times with no change. I am not running any AA type mods and don't have Inspector. Pretty clean install. I did notice one odd thing. In the Shift 3 pop up right where the word "battery" is at the top there is a rectangle with the same type of flashing. When I tur...

Re: Instrument lights blinking or flashing constantly

Thanks Scott but that does not help. It is just the thumb wheel lights for instruments and Radio & Engine. It is there both with the engine shut down and when running on the ramp or in the air. All other lights seem to work as advertised. It is just a constant flicker or flash is the best I know...

The hardwares totally separate so you can mix and match as you please 8) Lewis....just based on your recommendation of the CH Yoke here in this thread, I took the leap and ordered one. I have been using the Saitek for many years based on all the reviews. I installed it yesterday and really like the...
