Re: Piper J3 MS 2020
A little late to this party, but since you asked: I love the original J-3. Not only was it my first payware aircraft ever, I have more sim hours in that than any other GA aircraft. I remember the day she came to P3D V4. I ran the tank dry the first time out - twice. No other aeroplane in the sim mak...

Still chaseplane. I barely use many of its features. It just works without fuss.

Re: When can we expect more planes???
Not quite. It was Hacker chastising Sir Humphrey after he told H that something was "urgent". The writers of that series clearly did not see that they were actually writing a documentary series about how government works. It's not funny.   Dammit… I’m going to ...

Is it a good thing that I read that with Sir Nigel’s voice?

J-3 and/or B377. When you’re ready.
Plenty of hours to get out of this first.

Re: What's a "Near Miss"?
Well… asking my English teacher about this many years ago… inflammable means that something is able to be inflamed - set fire to. Flammable was invented to get rid of the confusion, but sort of added to it. The opposite of inflammable in noninflammable. Near-miss gets safety people all in a tizz. It...

Re: Piper Arrow IV
I succumbed to the Black Square offerings, other than the KA. I prefer them over endless glass, though they miss a level of charm that our hosts (and Milviz, to an extent) provide. Until then, I’d really only used the default 152 for GA. Most of them will get hangared once the Comanche turns up…

Perhaps Ron. But there is no harm putting a plug in.
Hopefully the Cub, T-6 and Cherokee all make an appearance. And the Strat…

Re: We need something new in the name for Accu-Sim
Lacking creativity and being a simple soul, I’m all for just calling it Accu-sim. Internally, you’ve already had, what, three iterations? Numbers are meaningless now. MS have worked that out. That’s why the sim is simply MSFS. Sure, it has a revision number, but that’s version control, not marketing...

Re: What are your favourite Accusim product lines ?
If I were to look at my logbook, top of the A2A list is the Cub, followed by the Connie and Comanche. A P3D Stratocruiser would have topped them all (except perhaps the Cub). The only thing above those are the Boeing jets. But here’s the thing… hours in the Cub ‘count for more’. No LNAV-VNAV-TOGA-AP...

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche MSFS Cockpit Screenshots
FSX had a partly decent C-172. Didn’t stop our hosts making one. And a Cub. It had a 737NG. How many companies made those? At least two. 747? Yep… third party versions too…

The old hidden spoilers trick…
That fixed it. Now there is half a chance I will land with fuel to spare, and not an hour late…
Thanks Ratty!

Anemic performance
Hi Team After many, many months away, I've dragged the Connie out on to the flight line again. Previously just use to fly her and not taking too much notice of what performance I was getting. On the last flight I had an announcement about an emergency that was under control, then a bit later 2ic say...
