Re: Small niggle with HSI and an additional request
many times I'll pick a parking that's not spawnable, but is depicted in the scenery. How do you do that? I could be wrong, but I believe he's referring to parking at the end of a flight. The parking spots you can start a flight from (spawn points) are usually very few compared to the spots ...

Re: GNS 430 oddity
The problem is when you then pretend that your addon is feature complete when it's not. Are they pretending that, though? Judging by your quote above, they said "most" of the functionality. In fact, I just went to their site to have a look, and I was greeted with the following: Because th...

Re: Turbulence settings - MSFS
Speaking of turbulence settings, have we discovered yet what the Accu-Sim specific options do; VR versus flat-screen? Is the VR option just the standard 'anti-sickness' motion reduction, or is there something special about it that, as a VR user, I should be using it?

Re: GNS 430 oddity
I've been seeing the same thing. The unit starts up set to GPS, but it isn't actually tracking the GPS. You have to 'wake' it by switching it to VLOC and then back to GPS.
I've just assumed this was one of many bugs in MSFS, and have made it a normal part of my startup procedure.

Re: Idea: cabin temperature/oxygen
I vote against this feature :) ...I don't want to be served every detail on a silver tablet, so to say, but instead using my imagination and fantasy. This is why I like the idea of this being a toggle along with the others on the tablet; I definitely get where you're coming from. Also, keep in mind...

Re: Idea: cabin temperature/oxygen
I agree regarding the cabin temperature. It's already there and simulated, but it feels like a bit of a waste as it's currently hidden away with the tablet; some kind of constant indication would be nice. But I agree with Marc, too, though, that this kind of thing can quickly get gimmicky or annoyin...

Re: Why would you want to switch tanks?
All this talk of precise fuel management is making me miss the Cub even more, where the fuel gauge was a metal wire stuck in a piece of cork.

Re: Inspect / overhaul button is a trick !
Keep in mind that the inspect feature and the walk-around are separate processes. The walk-around is a basic check you perform before a flight. The inspect options, on the other hand, are equivalent to you taking your aircraft to your mechanic and having him take a look under the hood. Realistically...

Re: Camera orientations for walkaround in VR
Yeah, I did the walkaround once in VR, and never again. I've since resigned to doing it in 2D, then switching over to VR.
Hopefully someone will work out a proper VR camera file again.

Re: Be able to overhaul parts without inspecting.
Completely agree. I've never been a fan of having to do a complete inspection - revealing and spoiling the state of your aircraft - just to fix one particular issue. It really kills the immersion and suspense that I enjoy so much about A2A's aircraft.

Re: All in all, the Comanche is complete CRAP
Has to be a case of a hacked account. All the other previous posts are coherent and neutral/positive. Agreed. I'm even tempted to wonder if it's another developer; one who clearly has a stick up their butt about what A2A has managed to accomplish, and isn't the least bit happy about their return.

Re: Why does the cabin door automatically close?
but for sure not idle comanche's propwash:) Then you'd be incorrect, even an idle aircraft engine of a little cub is enough to blow you about and certainly enough to close a door. thanks, Lewis i'm too skinny, airflow will not see me hahaha... come on. really idle engine can close the door? that's ...

Re: Detail regarding maintenance
Finally a cool feature would be to be able to restrict the inspect to certain components and with different levels of detail. For example, I don't think you do compression tests every time you inspect the oven. Also I imagine a 100 hour inspection looks a lot closer at the state of the equipment th...

Re: Flight Sim World
And also, what have people seen in FSW that makes them want to jump ship? No one's jumping ship. FSW is in Early Access; still very much under development, and not intended to pry anyone away from their current $1,000+ sims. So, why are people bothering with FSW at all, then? Because it's an opport...

Re: No More Interior Paints Allowed
I thought this was a supportive community but apparently there are restrictions imposed by certain painters and aircraft type. You might be surprised. I got a pretty nasty and condemning PM from EightyFiftyFive a while back regarding a couple Japanese repaints for the T-6. Anyway, don't worry about...
