Re: Pitch angle with gear and flaps
Thanks to everyone for your replies, all informative and useful. As ever, just loving all the A2A planes I have. Just got a great new computer which really has sorted out FSX with enough head-room on FPS. Considering options for the future, and of course the elephant in the room is the new Microsoft...

Pitch angle with gear and flaps
Once again, I've returned to the fold and am reminded of why A2A really is a great FS producer! Back to the Comanche and have noticed this: Lowering the gear causes a pitch up and lowering the flaps causes a pitch down, contrary to the usually expected responses. I know the wing (and flaps) are furt...

Re: VH-INN Available Now
Hi. I know this is an old topic, but I was looking around for repaints and this one really caught my eye. Thing is, the Dropbox link doesn't work and I can't find this paint anywhere else. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Accu-Feel Sliders Help
Wow, thanks a lot. This explains a great deal about how that AoA factor is calculated. I'm not much of a computer techie, but have been gradually getting into adjusting aircraft .cfg files, don't know much about the .air files, can't open them at present, my machine says it doesn't have the program....

Re: Accu-Feel Sliders Help
Hi, I don't know if this topic is too old, but I too have a question about the Angle of Attack Stall Slider. I've only used Accu-Feel so far on one plane, Alabeo's PA31-350 and when I checked Accu-Feel with it, it did indeed have a preset value for AoA (12.5 I think). I left it there, but I'd like t...

Re: Everything A2A does is awesome!
rahoward144, I'm right with you. I'm not a RW pilot, but have spent many hours in the right-hand seat GA, with plenty of 'you-take-over' moments. But in the sim world I keep buying planes from other producers which claim all sorts of things, but there's always something not quite right: OOMs, proced...

Getting lazy with the preflight
So I'm getting lazy... Had a wake-up, though. I jumped in the old C182, fuel, oil, then started the Shift+8 preflight inspection. After quite some time, I'm obviously not concentrating and just clicking rapidly through the sequence. Anyway, loaded baggage and passengers and did the proper start, onl...

Re: new cruise settings
Sounds great, I tend to use what I think of as more RW settings: 20in MAP (or less if at high altitude), 2,000rpm, lean to peak. Gives me less speed, but great range and economy. Currently on a long trip at 11,500', full throttle 19in MAP, 2,000rpm, IAS 100kts, fuel burn of 8.3GPH.

Re: ATC 'No messages to transmit to anyone'
OK, I've fixed it. I loaded a new flight with the same plane at an FSX airport using the Free Flight settings. I had been reluctant to try this, as I thought it would zero-time the plane, but as you said it would, the plane came back with the same hours and history AND ATC!!! Thanks for helping me w...

Re: ATC 'No messages to transmit to anyone'
OK, I've tried all the options, apart from deleting the flight I'm on, since I was scared of resetting the plane and losing the immersion of ageing. No result, same problem. But looking at your posts, it seems that if I start a new flight at an airfield, without loading the previous Comanche file, a...

Re: ATC 'No messages to transmit to anyone'
Hi Will, Thanks for the reply. I have had this trouble before, with the A2A C182 which was the last plane I flew before switching to the Comanche. For some reason, I switched to using Com2, I think I couldn't turn off a NAV beep code. I wonder if that's somehow locked onto the next A2A plane, i.e. t...

ATC 'No messages to transmit to anyone'
Hi, this might just be an FSX problem, but my Comanche, after about 50 hours and consistently saving and rejoining the plane where I left off, now has no ATC transmission, as per the subject. Everywhere I fly, I can't communicate, whether to default FSX airports or add-on fields. I did check all the...

Re: Ground roll friction gone
Hi. I'd like to reply to you all, with responses, because I appreciate the time you've put into being a good community member. I think I've fixed my 'no ground friction' problem, but I'm not too sure how! First, I reset defaults for all failures, then I closed the flight and reset the realism settin...

Re: Ground roll friction gone
Hi and thanks for all the replies. This is definitely a new behaviour, and when I do mag check I have full brakes applied, but have the same rolling effect, even on grass on an incline. Thanks Lewis, I think it is something to do with me having used the default brake failure, which has somehow affec...
