Re: Turning on the ground
MarcE: It's been a while since the last response to your question, but here's what I've done to help with turning on the ground. Be sure to turn while taxi'ing at low speed. 1) In the aircraft.cfg file, find the [contact_points] section. 2) "rem" (inactivate) the line for point.0 with // (...

Re: wish list for upgrades for Model 049
Another wishlist item from me (see above):
5) Either totally inactivate all the grunts and groans and whoas, or allow an option to inactivate them.

wish list for upgrades for Model 049
Some requests for upgrading the A2A Connie if and when there are plans to upgrade: 1) The strobe on the top of the aircraft seems to originate in the skin of the aircraft. Can the actual "bump" be modeled (see photo below)? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ec/N90831_Lockhee...

Re: Repaint Requests
Since some painters have already tackled repaints of modern vintage (e.g, Fedex), I'll ask for another "modern" aircraft's colors to be reproduced on A2A's Connie: President Trump's private 757, N757AF

Shockwave lights for the Constellation
Has anyone installed shockwave lights for the nav lights, beacons, et. al? If so, can you share your settings?

Overhead Panel view
Here's the coding I developed for a new view of the overhead panel in the Connie, which was largely based on the Co-Pilot CameraDefinition. [CameraDefinition.001] //========== must be a different number that other CameraDefinitions. By putting it in the 001 position, it's the first to load when hitt...

Here's the coding I developed for a new view of the overhead panel in the Connie, which was largely based on the Co-Pilot CameraDefinition... I presume similar changes will work for the 377. Re: Replacing STEC-30 with other Autopilots
All of which is why I'd like A2A to allow newer APs, as they allowed the newer GTN750. Even the "stock" AP from the FSX default airplanes would be an improvement == if only I could figure out how to make it function! Since A2A could do cute tricks like having an glove box door that opens, ...

Re: Issues with the GTN750 and P3DV4.1
Hi guys. I've updated my A2A Comanche with the latest update, and have updated the Flight1 GTN using its update tool, but since then the Comanche autopilot doesn't "connect" to the GPS anymore, so following a route manually if I engage Autopilot HI or LOW mode the aircraft just drifts off...

Re: Replacing STEC-30 with other Autopilots
Hello, no this is not possible. What issues are you encountering with the AP its a widely used very capable AP system. thanks, Lewis - A2A Two thoughts about the STEC-30: (1) it can't be pre-set for an altitude to hold (2) it doesn't want to follow the flight plans that I set up in my Flight1 GTN75...

Replacing STEC-30 with other Autopilots
Love the Comanche, but the STEC-30 autopilot is a pain. Surely some real-life Comanche owners have updated their APs (?), and I would like to do so with my A2A Comanche. What I'd like to do would be to copy an existing AP from one of my other aircraft (in panel.cfg) into the Comanche's panel.cfg (sa...
