Hi Andrew,
Hope you're enjoying getting to grips with a new sim and reacquainting yourself with the Comanche.
No, we didn't model the configuration menus for the EDM 830. The Lyco 0-540 is built in the U.S. of A. and really doesn't appreciate being probed metrically!
Cheers,
Nick

Re: RealTurb compatibility
Not familiar with this add-on I'm afraid, and there don't seem to be too many YouTube videos showcasing it with GA aircraft, but this one seems to suggest it works with the Comanche. https://youtu.be/d9mQaM6SzxQ?si=F9USCuso1JxMn0ZU In any case, the Comanche's external flight model reacts to turbulen...

Re: Paro - VQPR runway 15 approach
Hi Saqquarah, It shouldn't be too tricky to get the Comanche up to 17,000' in the sim and hypoxia isn't simulated at present. You'll need to make sure you lean the mixture appropriately though. You can 'cheat' and use the engine analyser page of the tablet to help with this if you like: just adjust ...

Re: Comanche 1" above ground and engine dies
Thanks for posting the video Pramod. It doesn't appear to show slew mode being toggled on and off as requested, but nonetheless something seems to be stopping the standalone flight model from initializing properly. This is the first time we've seen such behaviour since the aircraft was released in J...

Re: Not finding installation of PA24
Hello Rich,
Afraid I don't really understand the problem you're describing. From your previous posts, the aircraft is/was installed okay in MSFS, so could you try to clarify a bit what exactly isn't finding the Comanche installation.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Landing Issue
Hello Gerald, Landing gear collapse due to damage from a hard landing isn't modelled, but it sounds like a wing lifted during your landing (perhaps there was a tricky crosswind?) which might have given the impression of this. We're a bit limited with what damage can be simulated in situation like th...

Re: Speed perception
Hi JKdad212, Your zoom level can have a pretty significant impact on speed perception in the sim, so might be worth checking this is consistent across the aircraft in question. I had a quick play around with changing the sim rate and can't reproduce any ill effects. Also, it's very obvious when the ...

Re: VOR’s not working
Hi Paul,
I can't think of anything config-wise that would cause this. Obviously for the GTN, double-check it's in VLOC mode. Anyway, no problem picking up either of these here.
Cheers,
Nick

Ah, jolly good and don't worry, I won't force you to divulge the details. Rather regret spending my life savings on all those goats now.

You're welcome Michael, and don't worry, operation of these GNS units isn't exactly the most intuitive thing to get to grips with.

Nick

Re: ADS-B traffic GNS 530W
Hi Michael,
Yes, this is the prompt "ADS ON?" (note the question mark). You'll need to push the "ENT" button on the bezel to confirm the change while the field is still highlighted.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: ADS-B traffic GNS 530W
Hi,
You can switch the ADS mode out of standby in the Working Title GNS 530W/430W units. When on the traffic page, press the right hand rotary knob, rotate it to the right, then hit the enter button.
Cheers,
Nick
