Always do a pre-buy

Random YouTube recommend I got you might enjoy. I love the custom instrument panel at the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdyRNhffDJM

Oy, just going off the title, I thought this thread was concerned with . . . forbidden topics.

Re: What's with the forum logo?

Or maybe give her a flying jacket and goggles (something like that)?

My own wife was convinced she (the original gal) wasn't wearing pants.

Re: going home

How was the weather? Looks like you got to spend some time in the clouds. I love those flights where you're in-and-out of them.

Re: Still Proudly Behind the Times!

Nothing wrong with that, I'm still on P3D V4.5 myself I am. Probably won't take the plunge on MSFS2020 until later this year. I like the idea of scenery that looks like the real world, but I want the plane to act like a real plane.

Re: sick

Sorry to hear it, Greg. Hope you get better soon! As for flights, I have an idea for you: Try the backside (eastern side) of the Cascades/Sierra Nevada, from northern Washington to Southern California. There's a little airport at Omak (KOMK) I like to fly in/out of sometimes. Try starting there, the...

Re: TYPO ON MSFS 2020 Caused this 212 story skyscraper in melborn Au.

I'm surprised that wasn't fixed during alpha or beta. Was everyone just concentrating on taking screen shots instead of troubleshooting? It does seem kind-of hard to miss. Were the testers assigned certain areas to fly around in? I agree, twsharp, it is kind of funny :) . Fun fodder for the flight ...

Re: FS2020 A2A Aircraft

Thanks for the info everyone. Don't mean to sound pessimistic here, but I had my doubts about the default aircraft quality. How well are their systems modeled? Do their engines respond to mixture adjustments like they should? Can you foul the plugs if you're idling on the ground?

Re: FS2020 A2A Aircraft

Wowsers. I don't normally panic, but I may be sticking with P3D for a while yet. Not having a good time with MSFS at all. Micro-stuttering like crazy, doesn't matter what level of detail, out in the boonies with no trees, no traffic, no weather, online/offline... Game recommended high settings with...

More Aviation-Related TV

Hello everyone! I just saw a couple of Aviation-related videos I really enjoyed I wanted to share. One is Cold War Hot Jets, hosted by one of my favorite historians, James Holland. YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJtzyFRy2Ko The other was a fun behind-the-scenes vid on a 747's D-Check:...
