Re: Script for Panelbuilder and A2A Prop-Planes
I have started using peixsoft GA panels its a lot simpler than panel builder and it can run on an android tablet which I like. They also use fsuipc so in theory should the same lua script work for these guages too? Everything is pretty good except rpm gauge! I still cannot get correct values in pane...

Re: Script for Panelbuilder and A2A Prop-Planes
I had simplugins but deleted it and went to air manager, Much better interface, no lag and because you need no modifications. Someone already created the entire gauge set to function correctly. From what I remember, There are different steps you have to do to get simplugins to work with a2a planes ...

Re: Script for Panelbuilder and A2A Prop-Planes
Has anyone used this with prepar3d? I have simplugins, registered FSUIPC, and have tried both fsuipc interface and prepar3d interface but the rpm gauge on the c172 trainer is still way off. I created the lua script in the modules folder, is that all that is required, do I need to reference this scri...

Re: what are my options for a dedicated gauages monitor
Hey flamer, are we related? LOL! I saw some iPad software, do not recall the name, but the six pack is one of the available packages that can be presented. One package is GPS, one is radio, I believe. I"m going from memory here. If you have an iPad, it's worth look for. edit: Here it is: https...

Re: what are my options for a dedicated gauages monitor
Hello you can setup the view within the VC then use the A key when in the VC to get the view you need. The reason modern add-ons tend not to come with these as standard is because FSX started to move away from the 2D cockpit system in favor of the more realistic Virtual cockpit. So just like in rea...

what are my options for a dedicated gauages monitor
Hi all, I have the C172 trainer and p3d. I have done a bit of research but still not coming up with a valid solution. all I want to do is, have the gauges shown a separate monitor, I am not too concerned about looking flashy etc I'm not a cockpit builder but just a student who wants to be able to se...

Plane crashing for no good reason and cant change frequencie
two small issues: easy one first: I have p3d 2.5, spad and fsuipc latest version and latest core update of a2a. I have the saitek radio panel, using other planes i can use the act/standby button to change between frequencies, however the 172 is the only plane it doesn't work in, is there a special p...

Re: Throttle and RPM counter seem off?
Well its definitely an R model. and actually you are right, the red line is 2400. Luckily I found a photo on my camera of the aircraft I fly, now we have 10 of these and 4 I have flown are all exactly the same so I don't think they are specially spec'd. I will have to take a closer look at exactly w...

Throttle and RPM counter seem off?
I have p3dv2.2 and A2A Cessna P3D version. I have noticed the RPMs seem rather low, comparing to flying a real C172R I roll and take off around 2500rpm, until I reach circuit altitude then its a significant pull back on the throttle to reduce down to 2100rpm. In the sim, I notice with full throttle ...

Re: The Cessna 172 Elevator Response
Flamer, Do you know how many pilots end up going up, down, up, down, etc.? This is exactly what you are describing. It takes a lot of finesse, concentration, and timing to flare just right. Scott. Thanks for the reply, Im not sure what part of my query you were referring to though? the first part w...

Re: The Cessna 172 Elevator Response
sorry to bump an old topic. But I still have this issue, my elevator is WAY too sensitive. When I am driving down towards the threshold on finals, throttle closed I pull back slightly on the yoke to approach stall speed for a float then flare but the tiniest back pressure on the yoke sends me straig...

Hi I used this method, works well. If I save the flight then load it again the windows return to the original position which is great.
