Re: No Sound with F10 External View(s) in FSX

Hi John and welcome to the A2A P-51 world! I too was stumped with the lack of sound in that same view in FSX. In P3D, the planes now have sound in all views by editing a line in a cfg file. There is a way to get around this in FSX but it will cause the FPS to be cut almost in half. I'm doing this fr...

Re: Physical distancing

Here in Florida my wife and I are doing our part to keep a safe distance from others. When I was first reading this I thought you were going to say: "Here in Florida my wife and I are doing our part to keep a safe distance from each other." :). Hi Scott And who's to say that's not what I meant! :lo...

Hello everyone

I hope you are all staying healthy during these trying times.

Here in Florida my wife and I are doing our part to keep a safe distance from others. We found this simple guide helpful and want to pass it on to help you stay safe too.

Re: just "where do you stick it?"

Hi Mike I have moved several of my panels to more convenient places due to the windshield frame in my pit. Here are the placement numbers. 0 = upper-left corner 1= upper-middle side 2 = upper-right corner 3 = middle-left side 4 = middle 5 = middle-right side 6 = lower-left corner 7 = lower-middle si...

Re: P-51D cockpit build

Hi Darryl

I fly both the MIL and CIV Mustang even though my pit is a MIL modified with a switch box in place of the gun sight.

Take care

Re: Check out my new cockpit and computer! (Video)

Hi Bruce I am using P3D with a custom TIR profile I made. Since I have my own windshield frame I have adjusted the eyepoint settings in P3D to give me a forward view like this and with TIR I can still look to the sides or down into the VC. https://i.imgur.com/uWIqbFI.jpg There are times that a viewp...

Re: Check out my new cockpit and computer! (Video)

Hi Bruce66 Great home cockpit setup and video! I see you are using TrackIR, which I also use, and I have a question. In the video I saw you adjust the zoom while still using TIR. When I do this TIR overrides the zoom setting immediately defeating my adjustment. How did you set this up? Thanks again ...

Re: Fuselage tank not working........Fixed

Hello everyone After much head and other body part scratching I finally have the fus tank working again. Even though the selector turned in the VC pointing to the fus tank my controller had somehow dropped that LVar setting. I know it was working when I first setup my controls but since the fus tank...

Re: Fuselage tank not working

Hi guys Flapman, yep, fuel pump is on. Roger, I agree the pressure may drop if the fus tank was empty when I passed over it slowly or it was selected. What I'm trying to do is use the fus tank, but when tested with 25 gal to a full tank, when selected the pressure drops and the engine sputters. I tr...

Re: Fuselage tank not working........Fixed

Hello everyone I'm running the latest P3Dv4 in W10 and usually leave 25 gal in fus. tank just for balance. I have noticed 24.9 gallons remaining after a flight where I switched from left to right wing tank during flight and that gave me an idea. So I filled the fus tank for a long flight and as soon...
