Re: A2A Development Update May 2019

It has been almost 8 months since this development update. Any chance on getting another one to see what has been happening over the past 8 months?

I vote no.

Unfortunately regardless of how many disclaimers you add these products will be “reviewed” by many in the flight sim community. I would hate for that to tarnish A2A’s reputation. Stick with the quality we have come to know and love.

First flight today

Today I did my first flight in a 172. The instructor was impressed with my abilities and asked where I learned. I had to give all the credit to A2A’s 172. The instructor even let me land which is fairly rare for a discovery flight. I was truly amazed at how accurate A2A’s 172 is now th...

X plane?

I use both X-Plane and P3D. P3D for A2A and my Leonardo MD-82 and X-Plane for everything else. I don’t think you have to pick a sim. Install them both.

Mixture when on the ground

I noticed something interesting about the Bonanza that is different than the other A2A GA planes. When on the ground at or near sea level I can pull the mixture almost all the way out and when I do this the RPM actually increases a bit. With the other GA planes if I pull the mixture out this much th...

Numbers on fuel flow gauge

Can someone explain what the 45, 55, 65, 75 numbers are next to 10,12,14,16 on the fuel flow gauge?

Re: Cherokee - Icing Condition or something else...

Was the engine running smooth the whole time? Not losing power? If the engine lost power it could be carb icing

Re: Time to warm up those F5-buttons?

Much activity behind the scenes since last post. I’m guessing that it’s very close now. The problem with F5-keys made of metals is that they eat whole keyboards, and the expense is thus higher. Also, they make the wear on fingers and stumps higher. A slightly soft plastic is the best,...
