Re: Westwood Inn Adventure

Westwood been a favorite place in the days of the A2A cub.. Sadly the cub had been replaced with the 182 as the favourite. What a pity. But you will need the Cub if you want to find and explore the challange of approaching the secret Jobin Creek Cabin 40 miles north of the Westwood Inn, following t...

Hi jrmaverickjr, Assuming you have downloaded and installed all of my four repaints, you have four different "texture.vc_xxx" in your "SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C182" directory. All nessecery files concerning the interior are in the "texture_vc_xxx" folders. Method 1 (te...

Re: Definite Bush Potential (Pics Added)

I use the 182 exclusively for bush- and backcountry flying, and it performs rather brillantly in this task. All right, its stall behaviour is not that of a Super Cub, isn't it? So special care is needed for those short strips with steep approaches, you can try to slip it in and let it drop on the su...

Yellabird in its full rotten glory at Olympic Field, WA.!
The lady in the background looks away in disgust, but judging from her outfit, she's at the wrong place anyhow ... :D

Re: [RELEASED] Workorses No. 3 & 4: In the army now ...

@bliksimpie, and all: The wrong ATC entry in the Pony is corrected now. And the panel texture from the turqoise vc had a blue rectangle painted on the lower left corner of the sheet, to copy and align layers across texture files. I forget to erase the dang things sometimes ... ;) Anyway, the proper ...

Re: Explanation of C182 interior files...

Maybe that helps. I made a quick explanatory sheet of the six main interior texture files. Some parts are obvious, some are bloody hard to determine. I searched for the cowl flap knob for hours ... :D

@Joe: The wrong spelling is also corrected on the C-FTSL and C-GURS instrument panels. The text on LN-JEG's fuselage is flipped now. Many thanks for your "quality control", much appreciated. To be downloaded again, sorry. See 4th replay on this thread. ... The Norwegian flag head rest on T...

[RELEASED] Workorses No. 3 & 4: In the army now ...

Ladies and Gentlemen, Two more "ponies" for the hard working backcountry pilots. This time in more or less military type liveries, one in a not too serious Norwegian outfit, one in an "air show" like fashion. Meet the two Ponies ... https://www.dropbox.com/s/ailymvlfov5rqwj/A2A_C...

Re: Repaint direction?

Next will be to try the fabric overlays and see how they work with this spec set up. Fabric does not reflect light as shine, so my task would be to make 'em all black in the spec map. But on the other hand, a very dark grey (in either the actual colour of the fabric or its contrasting colour) and a...

Re: Repaint direction?

This is definitely top-notch repainting. The most striking effect is that the seats now look like they are made of cheap vinyl instead of leather. My approach to the specular lightning is that i tone down the overall brightness (less white, more grey) and unsharpen the image as a whole. Fabric parts...

Re: Illegal operations in PGN

Holy Guacamole! Now that's what i call a rather sinister airplane. You'll never know what the pilot of such a Cessna has in its mind. Maybe he's helping some smugglers doing their work funnelling Whisky across the border ... :D Coincidentally i work on a military-like interor too, for my "Malon...
