Re: End of Year Sale?
I’d definitely love to see a winter sale! I’ve added some last minute shopping to my list this past week with the other sales out there already.

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
To be honest, the only thing I can recommend is reinstalling since there are clearly some files missing. However, it may be worth clicking "cancel" when the installer offers to update the aircraft with the latest files at the end. Then check to see if all the C172 effects files are presen...

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
please can you let us know which AV suite you're running? Norton Security. Is there a way to re-download just the 172/182 effects files from the installer somewhere? Or I guess I can find another computer that doesn't have any P3D installed on it and copy those over? Or another option I guess, make...

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
Thanks for that. Interestingly some of the files are clearly being loaded from somewhere, including the ones I included in the zip file above, so the real mystery is, how is your P3Dv5 installation configured to have relocated these files? Please could you let us know the name of any P3Dv5 utilitie...

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
Okay, thanks for confirming. When you install the C172 and C182, do the installers automatically detect the existing install path for your A2A add-ons? Yes. Also, can you confirm if you have any third-party antivirus software running. I know some programs like Bitdefender can be very aggressive abo...

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
This is odd because although no C172 effects are visible in that folder, at least some of the effects files are clearly being loaded, for example the landing light and the glare shield and pedestal lights. Please can you confirm if you're installing via our own standalone installer or with Orbx Cen...

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
No. Yet another reinstall of both the C172 and C182 does not yield any .fx files.Nick - A2A wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 11:13 Can you also see the external lights such as nav lights and strobes when these aircraft are loaded?

Re: New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
Hello CaptKornDog, Thanks for the post. P3Dv5 has proved to be a bit of a moving target since its release in terms of the dynamic lighting system (and lighting overall) with quite a few updates to the platform in this regard. We've made quite a few changes to the lighting effects across the fleet t...

New P3Dv5 Install - Glareshield/Pedestal Lighting
Hello, Migrating my sim to a newly installed P3Dv5.1 Professional build, and just installed my C172 Professional product. Turning glareshield and pedestal flood lighting on full, is this the "normal" amount of brightness? I have attempted multiple uninstall/reinstalls as well, including tu...

Available on PCAviator?
Perhaps I simply don't see it or missed it, but will the Bonanza ever be made available for purchase via PCAviator?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: X52 Slider for Brakes - Disables Other Brake Buttons
Still trying to work on this a couple of months later. Has anyone successfully been able to use the X52 slider for simultaneous, gentle toe braking....and also be able to use differential braking for turning? Thanks. Did you have a look at my post above, specifically the link to another thread? It ...

I’m at the show all week myself, 17 years in a row.
Any discounts for products this week like there was at the show last year if I recall?

Re: X52 Slider for Brakes - Disables Other Brake Buttons
Hello, the brakes in our planes are programmed so that you can use either brake buttons or brake axis, but not both at the same time. You can try to use rudder left/rudder right commands for those buttons instead of diff brakes shortcuts, this in conjunction with brake axis should give you differen...
