It's the most unstable, buggy flight sim I ever flown.
it's made out of sticks and glue.
Yet it's the best one I ever flown. The atmosphere and flight feeling is amazing

Helped out a lot! I will try and mod the game to my liking since the 2.13 crashes constantly on windows 10 (I tried every tips and hint, but still crashes),

Hi, does anybody have my altered browning machine gun sound of Hazzie's?
My hard drive went south, and I lost everything

Is it possible to get the original gun sights and tracer, smoke and bullet textures from 2.13?
Is your version also compatible with texture / ground texture mods for 2.13?
I also noticed that your version produces old BoB 1 smoke and flame textures with some blocky squares weird textures.

Use manual propeller pitch.
That basically works as a gear in a car. Lower pitch = higher gear.
With auto it doesn't adjust very good and you will fall behind. It usually sets too high pitch and that makes you won't get as high speed.
At least it is so in the spitfire.

Wouldn't it almost be impossible to see anything at night?
Spotting planes in a distance is hard enough. But I guess the radars were pretty accurate?
But since BoB2's campaign only have fighting in the day and evening I guess it's accurate to say night missions were of the seldom?

Dive in on them very fast and steep and aim for the engine. Once you pass them turn a bit right and pull on the stick to avoid their fire.
If you approach a bomber from behind the gunners have no problem hitting you.
Takes a bit of practice but it's more fun this way too.
