We have been tasked to deliver a number of sealed crates to three cities in Cameroon, West Africa. The cargo will be loaded at Malabo-Santa Isabel Airport, on the island of Bioko, Equatorial Guinea. Our first stop is the airport at Douala, the capital of Cameroon, where our necessary "clearances" wi...

That's a Windows thing that you can try changing in the Sound menu through the Sound Control Panel, Communications tab.guillaume78150 wrote: ↑07 Jan 2023, 19:24
I experienced a weird sound stuff before, when the ATC talked, it almost cut the sound of the simulator. It went back to normal level 30 seconds later.

Bring a warbird. This one is 538 nautical miles so it's a long one for the Spitfire, but there are several handy refuelling spots along the way. Re: Learning to fly the Connie
The speed and altitude numbers in the flight plan box are default values, which you change to match the aircraft you fly. Skyvector doesn't create a flight plan, it allows you to create a flight plan. Sorry, that's the best I can come up with.

Re: Learning to fly the Connie
I am trying to create a flight plan Departure=VNKT with Arrival=VNLK. I want to use Radios not GPS. How to do this FP? Pat Using the VOR, I would simply fly out following the 089 radial from KTM to a point 74 nautical miles away on the DME. Tenzing-Hillary should be right under you. Skyvector looks...

Re: Anemic performance
The best I can come up with is that it's possible you have spoilers deployed. The ?/ key deploys (non-existent) spoilers that will adversely affect your climb and knock more than 40 knots off your cruise speed. Unscrupulous fliers have been known to use this "feature" to help slow down in descent. A...

I really understand what you both have to say about the day/time thing. We've wrestled with that in the past and only come up with the existing arrangement, managing to just about completely exclude our antipodean friends in the process, not to mention everyone east of Antwerp and west of Tokyo. I'm...

Re: Just curious . . .
Thanks, Ron. I think "that's folks" probably sums it up. I have to say, though, that I usually have even more fun flying with others than I do by myself! As for the P3D thing, JoinFS accommodates FSX, P3D, and MSFS flawlessly; also, we've used Discord for several years now, and never had a single pr...

We post two flights a week in the Multiplayer Forum, and every one gets at least two hundred views, some over four hundred! Yet for each flight it's usually just the same small group of regulars who show up to actually take part. I'm wondering what's in it for the rest of you - and why do we never s...
