Re: Is there any way of assigning engine sounds only to external speakers?

As far as I know it depends on the capabilities of your pc's sound card.

Re: Can't keep this plane in the air!

If nothing works, there may be another cause: your yoke could be faulty. I presume you have the Saitek (Logitech) yoke? It works with potentiometers and with my copy I could only fly circles counterclockwise. It was impossible to fly straight. It turned out that the grease (?!!!) in one of the poten...

Re: Can't keep this plane in the air!

Keeping the c172 on the runway up to 80 kts is not the right procedure. Start on the runway with some pressure on the nose wheel. Ease back the yoke to neutral as speed increases. (Directional control of the rudder will increase with increasing airspeed; the nose wheel will become less important). A...

Re: Is this correct behavior of the attitude ball

It's a balance between bank and speed. The airplane geometry also plays a small role. Try different speeds and you will experience different behavior of the ball. Try the J-3, try a jet; you will always experience different behavior.

Re: no more ground loops for me :)

Yes, I know! I make use of the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick (with Halls). It stands between my legs where you will find the stick in a real aircraft. I changed the springs so that it moves completely free in the centre. That way I have a very acurate feeling in the ailerons and elevator. I am consi...

Re: no more ground loops for me :)

Thanks, Dudley! But it is easier said than done for an amator like I am.
The A2A T-6 is great!
I will need other rudder pedals. The Saitek Combat rudder pedals look great, but ask too much force in the centre.

Re: no more ground loops for me :)

How about crosswind landings? There are two ways to approach: crabbing or slipping down. If you come in crabbing, you have to give rudder to yaw the airplane in the direction of the runway just before touch down. During slipping down you hold the nose alined with the runway with the wing that points...

Re: Help me with my c172

How does one do this? I had to do this with my Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals. Open the case of the controller, look for the potentiometer, open it (this is a bit a delicate work) and clean with a tissue or something like that. There should be some grease in the potentiometer but not too much. My hard...

Re: Help me with my c172

MEFISTO wrote I have P3D V4, i dont know why my C172 is always making a big left banking  It's frustrating Does only the C172 make a big left banking? If so: look to Weight and Balance (Shift + 4). If all airplanes make a big left banking: clean up the potentiometer of your yoke that commands...

Don't you use rudder pedals? If not, did you check Autorudder?

Re: Buying 2

All A2A aircraft are worth the money and you don't need the most expensive game pc. My pc is a seven year old i5 2500K @ 3,3 gHz. Flying over big cities in ORBX is not a good idea with my pc and all sliders to the right (10-15 fps and an OOM in less than ten minutes) but flying over ORBX England is ...

Re: Power off pitch-up

I don’t have experience with the RW PA28 but it would not surprise me if the plane would pitch up a little bit as soon as power is taken back. Many planes with fixed gear will slightly pitch down as long as the engine supplies power. As soon as power is taken back, the aircraft will return to...

Re: T-6 pitch control

Do you use rudder pedals and did you install them correctly (Settings > Controls > Axes and choose the rudder pedals)? The default setting of the pedals is that left and right pedal control elevator and aileron instead of the brakes (both pedals together control the rudder). Some other controls may ...

Re: T-6 pitch control

You don't have to install both SP2 and Acceleration Expansion Pack, because SP1 and SP2 are parts of Acc. You will induce problems when you would install both SP2 and Acc.

Re: FPS issue..

Hello Jason, Maybe the program is loading a lot of scenery at that point. I have the same issue in ORBX England when crossing the river Thames eastly of London in southern direction. There is nothing to worry about if you have 30 fps or more and there is a drop of 5 fps. To be able to fly an aircraf...
