Considering your control scheme, I don't think the trim function is relevant.
My suggestion is to set it to the middle position (basically...disable it) and continue flying with the mouse.

Re: Connie questions
Hello, 1.At what FL do you reduce the mixture from autorich to autolean?I used to think this was at cruise level, but does this rule still holds when you cruise at FL 250? The answer has no relation to flight level. It has to do with how much power the engines are producing. You will damage or destro...

Hi, As somebody who regularly flies this airspace, allow me to give you a (what I think) better routing for your journey. 8) https://skyvector.com/?ll=40.882786720555934,-78.13366699585072&chart=302&zoom=6&fpl=%20KLCK%20APE%20BSV%20EWC%20EARED%20PSB%20MIP4%20KLGA It's 4 miles shorter, yo...

Re: Disable Persistent Aircraft
You should also be able to disable the Accusim feature via the same Shift+3 menu. That should disable the persistence and wear features of the aircraft.

Re: Mouse Click not Working
Are you using any kind of head tracking/VR/eye tracking?
Pause it, and press CTRL+SPACE. It sounds like you clipped into the model.

Re: Engineer Carb Anti-Ice
I know this might be nonsensical, but I believe those would be the incorrect switches for this situation. Despite the fact they are labeled "Carb Anti-Ice." They are for another type of icing, which affects a different part of the carburetor. I believe what you encountered was traditional ...

Re: 172 vs Bonanza in terms of fidelity / features?
Remember that all accusim aircraft are built on the same accusim core foundation. Stuff like tapping instrument glass is specific to an individual product, but if the core accusim gets updated, the update rolls to all products (in some cases older products might not support some new features). The b...

Re: Rapid Climb During Cruise
I can't replicate this scenario in FSX:Acceleration. And I don't have any reason to believe this would be something that could happen. I'm cruising right now at 10,000ft (empty, unpressurized). I'm holding the wheel brakes using my joystick.. and keyboard. I'm seeing no drop in Brake pressure. Or Em...

Re: Common Routes for the Constellation?
I personally pull relevant flight schedules from http://timetableimages.com/ it will take a little bit of effort to find the correct airlines, years, and flights as it is not exclusive to just the model 049 Constellation, but there are a large number of real life flights you can find. Almost all of ...
