Re: Any plan to support Brunner FFB yokes or pedals ?
It turns out we need to take another path for Force Feedback to work, through Asobo likely. We haven't yet made this request as we're deep into other things but we will and keep in mind they are busy too so it will likely take a while before, if, anything is done. We do want FF to work. It is impor...

Re: Throttle vs Prop adjustment
VERY informative, thank you. Gives me exactly what I need as I do further testing as you describe. The analyzer is a fantastic aide. Just love this product, gives me a very enjoyable platform for taking my learning to another level w/ piston aircraft. This video might be from another era, but it's ...

Re: Who is using a force feedback yoke?
I think the only reason I haven't bought one of the Brunner yokes is my desk is used for work as well, so I can't have it permanently mounted. Currently I slide my Yoko+ into position then use the provided clamp to hold it in position. It has rubber feet that protect the wood desk. I don't believe ...

Re: Just a short flight bringing her home (trip report)
I wholeheartedly approve of this message! As someone who have done this with every A2A airplane since the Cherokee was released, I can relate to the excitement of planning and preparing, executing and completing, and subsequently basking in the glory of such an epic trip. Knowing that the plane is p...

Dangerously beautiful. Beautifully dangerous.

Re: Any plan to support Brunner FFB yokes or pedals ?
Scott, Feel free to ignore this request if it's too much work. But since you're getting the Brunner yoke, it would be really cool if you could make an accurate preset for the Comanche and upload it on the profile cloud once it's fixed. This is a good point, as we non-Comanche pilots can probably ge...

Re: Any suggestions for trim on brunner yoke
I use hardware trim (an old, but still extremely precise and well functioning Saitek Cessna trim wheel), so I can't speak to that aspect. However, you will find that setting the yoke up/creating a profile for the Comanche will be difficult, as Accusim 2.0 speaks a different language than MSFS does. ...

Re: Any plan to support Brunner FFB yokes or pedals ?
I've posted this on the Brunner forum, just to get a bit of a primer on the situation and the potential solutions: "Yeah, this requires cooperation between A2A and Brunner. I heard from Scott Gentile at A2A that they have been in contact with Brunner and will get a unit to experiment with. My t...

Re: Any plan to support Brunner FFB yokes or pedals ?
OK I have good and bad news. The good news is Brunner responded. The bad new is they are about to take a two week vacation and said they'd send a unit out to us to test when they return.... Scott That's bad news? :-P You'll have much fun toying with the Brunner yoke/rudder! You know you've got clou...

Re: Adjusting mixture for descent....
It's probably difficult to maintain perfect lean during descent, as it's slightly more dynamic an environment than the cruise - you need to change MP/throttle for example. And OAT will change. I've usually just added a bit here and there, and accepted that my mixture would be on the rich side of the...

Re: Force Feedback via XPForce - elevator trim, gear turbulance etc.
There was some patent nonsense a few years ago, right? I haven't understood much about it. All I know is that the market hasn't been there, and the expense has been immense if one really wanted something really good - which leads the marked to accept that FFB isn't a thing, which is all in all an ev...
