I'd prefer it to be a hot military stud... I guess y'all would be on board, eh?
Excellent idea!

One from Top Gun and the volleyball scene!

It would be about time....
Actually, the P-40 is a bit of a stud, methinks. :-P All oily, sweaty, and loud. ;-)

Re: Bringing panel mods from V4.5 to V5?

I brought my repaint of the V-35 panel over from v4 to v5, and also my repaint of the C-172 panel.

The exterior repaints may be different, but I have not had any problems with the one I use on the V-35. Give it a try. :)

(and post pictures! - too few people make their own panel mods)

Re: Need recommendation on Orbx scenery please

Now that the sim is up and running, and you have your Orbx-ducks in a row, it's time to choose airplane. May I suggest the airplanes from a little, but very brilliant company, called A2A Simulations? They have a spectacular model of the P-51, for a starter... ;-) (haha - just reading through for cla...

Re: Dudley Henriques, Update

Well done weathering the storm! You're part of the family here, and we have missed your input, and look forward to seeing you around.

Hope you are able to enjoy the new (and the "old") simulators! :-D

Re: Spit MkIX

I don't believe in this post that anyone actually asked for that, for once. Ok yes, I agree and can see that now. But finished for a client isn't finished for you / our audience. The manual alone and our vision is a persistent airplane we can live with is what we like to make and what our audience ...

Re: Spit MkIX

Guys, we have this "argument" often: Q: "Can't we release more airplanes in development that aren't fully Accu-Simmed for less?" A: "No, putting anything out that does not meet our current standard will result in higher complaints and hurt our brand" Repeat the above every 3 months. Scott I don't b...

Re: Spit MkIX

Artur, The Mk. IX Spitfire we developed for the Boultbee Flight Academy doesn't include a modelled cockpit; they use it with their physical recreation of a Spit cockpit. Thanks, Nick I'd be willing to pay an extra 10 or even 20 dollars to get the IX Spitfire with the Boultbee physical cockpit inclu...

Re: 2020 AirVenture Oshkosh is "un-cancelled", for us simmers!

I’ve listened to those guys for many years watching Oshkosh arrival videos. Must be cool to be controlled by the real deal. Such a shame it’s not open to P3D/FSX/x-plane users. Pilot Edge is such a small section of our community. Start a 2 week trial! Load up your sim of choice, study the NOTAMs an...

What's not open to P3D/FSX/XP?

Re: 2020 AirVenture Oshkosh is "un-cancelled", for us simmers!

It has been an astoundingly successful first day of SimVenture 2020 Oshkosh. Hope to rock my wings with some of you A2A-nerds on Thursdag, Friday, and Saturday. Here is some behind the scenes footage during the event to day; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_m45dWCTjw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Re: Aerostar Checkout - success

That sounded healthy enough. :D Exciting eh? Well yes but... the engine is EXTREMELY smooth. I ran both later and they both feel and sound completely different. We're not sure why or if this is even an issue, but Monday is going to be an interesting day because I'm going to run both engines at full...

Re: 2020 AirVenture Oshkosh is "un-cancelled", for us simmers!

Only one week to go! I've been testing for a few hours today, with the real controllers from Oshkosh AirVenture . They will be do the controlling during the event, so this will be as real as it gets. Glorious fun! "Cleared to land on the Orange Dot." https://i.imgur.com/YDAweZx.jpg "Follow the flagm...
